A video of a British soldier screaming abuse at hooded Iraqi prisoners has been played to a public inquiry into the death of one of the detainees.
The graphic footage shows Corporal Donald Payne, formerly of the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment, verbally abusing six prisoners in Basra, southern Iraq.
The detainees have sandbags on their heads, their backs are to the walls and their arms are secured with handcuffs.
