Ukraine Swine Flu Outbreak Sparks Mutation Fears

British scientists are examining samples of a strain of swine flu behind a deadly Ukrainian outbreak to determine whether the virus has mutated.
More than 80 people have died in Ukraine in the last two weeks and there have been 450,000 cases of respiratory illness.
The World Health Organisation has sent an emergency team to monitor the epidemic and says it assumes most of the illness in the country has been caused by H1N1 swine flu.
The Ukrainian government has closed schools and universities for three weeks, and many public events have been banned.

President Viktor Yushchenko said experts fear the simultaneous existence of three types of flu viruses within the country “may lead to the emergence of an even more aggressive new virus”.
The WHO team of nine experts dispatched samples from infected patients for examination at the World Influenza Centre at Mill Hill, in London.
“Many questions remain to be answered,” the organisation said in a statement.

one of the few stories in the mainstream news media (the BBC) about the nightmare that is unfolding in the Ukraine – right out of a Hollywood horror movie about biowar – however, there are several inaccurate bits of information in this article. The number of very sick people is now 500,000 or so, not the 255,000 quoted in the article. Of course, the number did just about double in 48 hours from 255,000 to almost 500,000. We do not know if this is Swine Flu. It may be a recombination of some Swine Flu (A/H1N1) genetic material and one or more other viruses. Or it may be something totally new. And we are apt to be at the mercy of the public health authorities for some time as to taking their word, when it eventually comes out, on the genetic makeup of whatever is causing the hyper-epidemic in the Ukraine. We know that, several months ago, we were lied to extensively in the early days about the spread and origin of the Mexican Swine Flu virus. In any case, while overall death rates are reported as low, there are serious non-official reports that thousands are dead/dying. We know that, whatever this event/illness is, it only began on about October 25, less than a week ago. We know that the number of officially reported illnesses was 255,000 two days ago and doubled to 500,000 in 48 hours! We know that the illness has already escaped the Ukraine and is now beginning its global spread. We know from medical/military studies of Advanced Biological Warfare war-games, that it is highly likely that we will not make it to Christmas without a medical emergency of Biblical scope. In fact, it is more likely that all hell will break out before the American holiday of Thanksgiving (November 26th). We know from ARI type cases, that in 5% to 10% of the cases, the patients do not survive. This is the range that we seem to be getting from separate, relivable, but officially unconfirmed reports of Ukrainian deaths. This, projected to only 4 billion infected (out of approximately 6 billion people) of the Earth current population (Swine Flu “Vaccines” are being manufactured for 4.8 billion people as you read this) would result in 200,000,000 to 400,000,000 human beings dying before next Spring.

ukrainians haven’t had h1n1 shots as of yet. here’s my theory, they either don’t have anything going on, it is all blown out of proportion because of all the political bs they are dealing with, a staged crisis if you will. or they have unleashed a biological weapon. see, ukrainians (most) aren’t to hip on vaccinations, due to all the deaths, illnesses and injuries from vaccines in the past. they are probably trying to make an example of what happens when you don’t vaccinate, even though they are the ones that chemtrailed the virus all over them. just my 2 cents.

Ukrainian News Agency “Fraza” reported that, according to informed sources, “it has been confirmed 100 % Pneumonic Plague in Ukraine”.
The Agency asserts that “the head physician of the medical institutions has sent out an informal disposal – not to sow panic, to refute the information about the plague, and to speak only of swine influenza”.
It is also required to distribute masks at health facilities with 8 levels of protection and anti-plague protection costumes. There is also an informal order not to allow any visitors to see the patients.
According to the “Fraza” agency, “today in Ukraine pneumonic plague is going in parallel with swine flu. The plague has killed over 60 people, and about 14 from the flu.

Is it possible that swine flu is a coverup for this plague? Whatever it is I can almost guarantee that its not natural – that it was cooked up in a lab as an act of Bio Terrorism. Why? Because when you REALLY investigate things like these you’ll find that there are always strange circumstances or events surrounding them. What have we heard previous to this about Baxter pharmaceuticals and their attempts to mix live viruses with the flu vaccines – and immediately after that H1N1 was being publicized, but without most people knowing the previous concerning Baxter. Now as the H1N1 is waning and vaccine supplies are being witheld to create a false scarcity, we get this news. Something is rotten in Denmark.

The 1917 influenza was isolated, if I recall from a dug up cadaver, a couple years ago and sequenced. It made quite a stir when the sequence was published in the medical literature. Not that this is what is happening in Ukraine (release of the 1917 or very similar flu), just that it is technically feasible.

I don’t think this is Pneumonic plague, I may be wrong but it has been going on for a few weeks and bacteria are easier to grow on culture than viruses. Since they are trying to figure out what this is, they would have been taking cultures and yersinia pestis would have grown out in 3-10 days. A more virulent virus is actually more concerning to me than plague.

* Many people claim that the new H1N1 swine flu vaccine was fast-tracked through production and did not undergo proper testing. In reality, the vaccine went through the same process as the seasonal flu vaccine. Unlike the seasonal flu, which requires several months of study each year to determine which strains to include, the H1N1 strain was known, negating months of research. The initial occurrence of H1N1 also came at a time when production of a vaccine would not interfere with seasonal vaccine production, which had just finished, and when resources (e.g., chicken eggs for growing the virus) were still available.
* Some claim that the H1N1 vaccine contains adjuvants, such as aluminum salts, AS03 or MF59 (aka squalene). After initial efficacy testing, however, the CDC determined that an adjuvant would not be required. Therefore, all forms of the H1N1 vaccine in the United States are adjuvant-free.
* Inevitably, someone brings up the 1976 swine flu vaccine in an attempt to show the purported dangers of the new vaccine. They will cite that the vaccine killed more people than the flu. They will also state that the vaccine induced Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) in recipients. Although technically true, they are misleading. The 1976 strain infected around 13 individuals and killed one. The vaccine was given to 48.2 million people, with 25 deaths linked to the vaccine, a rate of about 1 per 2.5 million. In addition, around 532 vaccine recipients developed GBS, a rate of about 1 per 100,000, only slightly above GBS rates in unvaccinated populations. The vaccine was distributed before the 1976 strain was fully understood. While it shared a lot of similarities with the strain that caused the 1918 pandemic, thus raising fears of significant deaths, the 1976 strain did not spread beyond Fort Dix. In contrast, the current 2009 H1N1 strain has already spread around the world. So, in 1976, the government, media and the public jumped the gun, reacting before enough information was understood. * The severity of H1N1, and seasonal flu in general, is often brushed off. People will claim that if infected, you will only be sick for a week, and then you’ll be fine. For the majority of cases, that is true. However, the seasonal flu kills, on average, around 30,000 people in the U.S., and 500,000 worldwide, each year. The 2009 H1N1 strain appears to have a similar severity as seasonal flu, though the burden is shifted toward younger individuals. Even individuals who survive may still require hospitalization. An October online early release study in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that critical illness occurred very rapidly after hospitalization, primarily in young adults, necessitating the use of mechanical ventilation and other rescue therapies. With the combination of seasonal flu and H1N1 occurring at the same time, there are some fears that there may be a shortage of ventilators and support staff.
* Another common myth is that you can get the flu from the vaccine. With the flu shot, that cannot happen, as the vaccine uses an inactivated (killed) virus. The inhaled formulation uses a live, weakened virus, so it may cause mild flu-like symptoms, and there is a small chance of spreading the vaccine virus to close contacts. Generally, only minor local reactions occur. More serious reactions with either (e.g., headache, nausea, etc.) generally go away in 1 to 2 days, instead of the week or longer of more severe symptoms that true influenza infection would cause.
* Generally speaking, both the seasonal and H1N1 vaccines are safe and effective. However, it must be noted that some people should not receive the vaccine (e.g., those with allergies to eggs). If you have any questions or concerns, consult your physician.

Update: Today’s total of very ill people in the Ukraine is officially at 633,877. This disease was unknown six days ago! Three days ago the number of cases was approximately 255,000, yesterday it was a little over 470,000. Official death figures are just under 100, but multiple sources say the real death figures are now over 3,000. The internal temperature of the patients who die reaches 130F to 135F, the lungs are full of blood and have turned to mush, and are black.

It doesn’t take any wacko imagination to sense that something is seriously amiss here. Interestingly, you will NEVER get any DEEP and earthshaking news from mainstream media…proof enough that it is PROPAGANDA. And from what source? Pretty well all flu viruses have a connection with pigs and birds as well as with humans at some point in their genesis. So, “swine flu” is a very wooly and unhelpful name for the current outbreak.
The first cases of this particular H1N1 variant flu were recorded in Wisconsin USA (see http://www.newsweek.com/id/195692), even before it travelled to Mexico, so it would be best referred to as “American Flu” or “Wisconsin flu” to better distinguish it from earlier flu pandemics.

What a load of crap i’ve just read through! Im an Englishman who moved to Ukraine this year, i only heard about this recent outbreak at the weekend and lo and behold developed the flu on Monday. Is it swine flu? Is it this mutation? I dont know, but im a fit 37 year old male who cant remember the last time i was ill from anything like flu. Most people make Swine flu symptoms out to be worse than seasonal flu – it isn’t. The point is because its a new strain no-one has any immunity to it, hence it spreads so fast. One things true though, its knocked the shit out of me this week, i certainly wouldn’t want to deal with this if i was overweight or elderly.

why the panic, there are more diseases around now that we know about down to news sites, channels . we hear about new strains constantly due to imunisations, vaccines and othe rmedications now readily avaliable. were all going to die of some thing one day, wether old age, disease or self inflicted ailments and disease, so what is the point in mass panic, is like everyone suddenly wants to live for ever, the world is so densly populated now that more people die from disease, well surly thats a good thing. when rabbits over populate, their culled wheres the difference its natures way of evening out the population. let it come . bring it on, the end is coming to all of us one day. we cant stop it so why have mad hysteria over flu. the normal strain kills thousands each year
