U.S. Attacks Russia Through Client State Georgia
While U.S. media obsesses about John Edwards’ extramarital shenanigans

Georgian forces, trained and equipped by the Pentagon and the U.S. government, killed 10 Russian peacekeepers early this morning in a provocation attack that has escalated into military conflict, but the subsequent corporate media coverage would have us believe that the U.S. and NATO-backed client state Georgia is a helpless victim, when in actual fact a far more nuanced geopolitical strategy is being played out.
Original reports early this morning detailed how Georgian forces had killed 10 Russian peacekeepers and wounded 30 others, which was the provocation for Russian forces to begin military operations, but the fact that Georgian forces were responsible for starting the conflagration has been completely buried in subsequent media coverage.
“Georgia and the Pentagon cooperate closely,” reports MSNBC, “Georgia has a 2,000-strong contingent supporting the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq, and Washington provides training and equipment to the Georgian military.”

The latest exercise, Immediate Response 2008, which took place last month, involved no less than one thousand U.S. troops working with Georgian troops in a war game scenario.
Moreover, the very “Rose Revolution” that brought the Harvard trained pro-US Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvilli to power in 2003 was wholly aided and abetted by the Central Intelligence Agency.
Russian fury at U.S. support for Georgia and Georgia’s aspirations of becoming a NATO member have flared regularly in recent months, with tensions also rising following U.S. attempts to place missile defense shield technology in Poland and the Czech Republic, which most observers agree has nothing to do with Iran and is in fact aimed at countering Russian military superiority in the region.
In addition, the pro-Israeli news source DebkaFile reports that Georgian infantry units were “aided by Israeli military advisors” in capturing the capital of breakaway South Ossetia, Tskhinvali earlier today.
DebkaFile elaborates on the true geopolitical significance behind today’s events.
DEBKAfile’s geopolitical experts note that on the surface level, the Russians are backing the separatists of S. Ossetia and neighboring Abkhazia as payback for the strengthening of American influence in tiny Georgia and its 4.5 million inhabitants. However, more immediately, the conflict has been sparked by the race for control over the pipelines carrying oil and gas out of the Caspian region.
The Russians may just bear with the pro-US Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili’s ambition to bring his country into NATO. But they draw a heavy line against his plans and those of Western oil companies, including Israeli firms, to route the oil routes from Azerbaijan and the gas lines from Turkmenistan, which transit Georgia, through Turkey instead of hooking them up to Russian pipelines.
Jerusalem owns a strong interest in Caspian oil and gas pipelines reach the Turkish terminal port of Ceyhan, rather than the Russian network. Intense negotiations are afoot between Israel Turkey, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Azarbaijan for pipelines to reach Turkey and thence to Israel’s oil terminal at Ashkelon and on to its Red Sea port of Eilat. From there, supertankers can carry the gas and oil to the Far East through the Indian Ocean.
Former Treasury Secretary under Ronald Reagan, Paul Craig Roberts, told The Alex Jones Show today that the entire scenario smacked of a maneuver on behalf of the Neo-Con faction controlling the White House, led by Dick Cheney. Roberts said the date was precisely picked due to the distraction of the Olympics and Bush being out of the country.
Both Condoleezza Rice and John McCain have today demanded Russia withdraw its forces from Georgia immediately.
Meanwhile, the U.S. media networks are seemingly more interested in the complete non-story of John Edwards having an affair, while a conflict that could have devastating and thunderous geopolitical consequences fizzes on the verge of explosion.
As of early Friday evening, Edwards’ extramarital shenanigans were dominating CNN and Fox News, while Drudge also afforded the story more prominence that the situation in Georgia, which was also deemed less important than the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

Those who dont learn from history are destined to repeat it..In 1992, Georgia was forced to accept a ceasefire to avoid a large scale confrontation with Russia. The government of Georgia and South Ossetian separatists reached an agreement to avoid the use of force against one another, and Georgia pledged not to impose sanctions against South Ossetia.
A peacekeeping force of Ossetians, Russians and Georgians was established at the time. And late in 1992 the OSCE set up a mission in Georgia to monitor the peacekeeping operation.
From then, until mid-2004, South Ossetia was generally peaceful.
In June 2004, tensions began to rise as the Georgian authorities strengthened their efforts against smuggling in the region. Hostage takings, shootouts and occasional bombings left dozens dead and wounded.
A ceasefire deal was reached on August 13, but it has been repeatedly violated.
Tensions in the region soared in 2008 and outbreaks of violence became increasingly frequent in the border area.
Georgia said it was an internal affair as the breakaway republic had never been recognized internationally.
The Georgian side repeatedly insisted the conflict could be resolved without outside interference.
However, early on August 8 Georgia launched a massive military offensive to take control of the republic.

Some of the comments on here prove that at least some of us don’t take everything we read on here to be truth and that even Alex Jones has an agenda. The conclusion made in this article is complete bullshit and resembles the hypocritical nature of the typical 21st century news source (that’s you ALEX JONES): tell people some of the truth some of the time but manipulate the facts all of the time. Yeah – going by the word of a Russian military commander in this situation may not be the safest way of uncovering the truth. But I think Watson and Jones probably have pretty good reasons to back up their claims. I also think that a little bit of sensationalism is called for to balance the automatic polar opposite sensationalism coming from the main stream media.
I think those of you who are crying about how Jones is a fraud are showing your true colors. Truth in geopolitics is hard to come by. How do you know this article is misrepresentation? Perhaps you have done more investigation into these affairs than Watson and Jones have?

I think that Dr. Roberts said that he believed that this could have been picked because both Bush and Putin were out of country. He was not definitive about it, nor could he know that for sure.

It couldn’t be a lack of belief in collective action — look at the waste of energy people put into supporting that neocon wolf in sheep’s clothing Buttcrack Obama — we had 75,000 show up to see the ‘charismatic’ AntiChrist here recently.

But one of two stories about the Georgian war on Pravda’s website yesterday were from the AP. Another Russian site was getting their news from AFP AND AP. At the very least, now one is put into the position of questioning the validity of the single remaining story that Pravda carried. If one is questionable, why not the other? It is a valid question.

On the other hand, for ‘breaking news’, these global news services are usually the first-line disseminators of information, and lots of alternative websites and journals post their news releases because for immediate coverage of breaking news, because they are just about ‘the only game in town’.

If you read more of my posts you would discover that I do not believe that peaceful protest or the existing political process are viable approaches in the long run to dealing with the fascist US government.
I believe that a violent Revolution will be necessary to remove fascism from the US government and from US society, and that it will be absolutely necessary to completely destroy the US government as it exists today.
The Revolution should be leaderless (for a variety of reasons that I will not discuss here), as decentralized as possible, and it should pursue a relentless strategy of highly aggressive but nonconfrontational sabotage. Its first, main goal should be the complete destruction of the USA’s infrastructure — including the electrical grid, the communications network, and the transportation system.

Your philosophy sounds good, but it doesn’t actually work in the real world. Peaceful protests didn’t accomplish anything in the 1960s, and they won’t accomplish anything now.
If you’re telling me that I’m wrong to ‘hate’ the fascists and that you are right to ‘love’ them, I doubt if you and I are even on the same side. Anyway, your approach will accomplish nothing. We worked a lot harder at peaceful protest during the Viet Nam era than anything that you peaceniks are doing today, and it got us nowhere. In fact, our failure to ‘cross the Rubicon’ and take up arms against the US government back then is why the USA is in such awful shape today.
If the present generation actually gets off their butts and steps away from their computers to go out and do some serious street protesting, they might eventually experience their own Kent State-type events, at which time they may begin to figure outr that peaceful protest is just pissing into the wind in the USA.

The fact is is that the revolution is NEVER MEANT TO END. It provides a perpetual state of chaos, anarchy, death, destruction, mass relocation of people, a total lack of civilized society altogether. Let me correct you. The Catholic Church has not been seized by the forces of evil. The once-Catholic churches have. That is, the forces of evil have seized the physical buildings, even the Vatican, but by design they can never seize the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church is NOT a building. It is the Faith. The forces of evil have tried to seize the Faith, too, but they cannot. Jesus Christ is too smart for them. He set of His Church so that the teachings of antiquity trump the teachings of novelty. Practically speaking, what that means is that these new teachings since Vatican II, while they may carry the name “catholic”, are NOT Catholic. The Catholic Faith has been set in stone with the 20 Ecumenical Councils. Vatican II can’t change that. Sure it has duped 99.9% of the so-called “catholics” in the world, but by definition, these new Vatican II teachings are ipso facto invalid because they contradict the teachings of antiquity.
The Catholic Faith or for that matter, the Catholic Church remains intake, just with much fewer members. The Faith is unchanging, the numbers of true Catholics and who occupies the buildings are the only things that have changed.
Study hard because there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church. Again, when I say Catholic Church I do not mean the church currently operated from the Vatican today. I mean the Catholic Church, the Catholic Faith, against which the gates of hell will never prevail.

I like having intelligent, factual debates, however things have been adding up over the few months about this website, as well as Alex Jones. For, instance the batman articles that were released, and the mass casket article. These articles were based purely on sensationalism and fear. You might want to go back and check that out. I do see your point that I was being a bit irrational, however the headline of this article is clearly a misrepresentation, quote “corporate media coverage would have us believe that the U.S. and NATO-backed client state Georgia is a helpless victim”. This is wrong Russia is clearly the aggressor. Russia is bombing innocent civilians, destroying condos, oil pipelines, hotels etc. This is outside the zone of conflict, of course Georgia is guilty of killing innocent civilians as well. There are a lot more than 16 preChristian ‘Christs’ in world mythology; there are SCORES of them. ‘Jesus Christ’ is a Frankenstein’s Monster, assembled from bits and pices of preChristian myths of solar gods.
One of the more obvious of these is Yeshe Krishna, whose mythos predates Christianity and the New Testament by many hundreds of years.

One approach to figuring out the difference between myth and philosophy is to seperate into two different columns the life stories of mythic heroes, philosophers, and Gods as distinct from their philosophical sayings.
Take for example the Buddha. According to the canon of Buddhist literature and tradition, when the Buddha was born he immediately stood up and took seven steps in each of the four cardinal directions, and he spoke words at each of the four positions. That is a patently mythological story, impossible in reality and also formulaic in its solar symbolism.
In the other column goes the sayings and the philosophy that is attributed to the Buddha.
Obviously SOMEONE composed the sayings and the philosophy of the Buddha, of Christ, and of Krishna, but their life stories are obviously mythological and are full of formulaic solar symbolism.

She happened to be the laughing stock of Rutger’s University, and the Zeitgeist film (Part 1) has no historical evidence. In fact, the film refers to the wrong man – Ra – as the Sun God and makes terrible mistakes in paralleling him with Jesus. Horus was the Sun God. What? Yeah, right. One point of contention is the need to enforce an end to Christianity. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Hell, hand it to even a half-good lawyer and it would be ruled as such. I’m reminded of a story about some of the vets of the western desert ops. 8th. Army after WW2 who were still engaged in active engagements in the Palestine situation against the Stern gang and the Irgun. Some new intake lads started showing off with the rifles they’d been issued and the fellows who had been through the mill told them to ‘put the bloody thing down, before you harm someone’.

Well, there always were people who won’t take no for an answer. In that case, action this day. Trouble is, when all’s said and done, there’s a lot more said than done. A lot of these high head ones get a little crazy with power, with a lot of attitude and ego in the forefront. A little sincere talk is always a good start. I always had this theory:
God is the question why.
To start ask someone what they are doing. when they answer ask why again. when they answer ask why again. After about ten whys you will have got to “Because God made it that way” Then ask why again….
Why is infinite. Just like God. You can always keep asking why.
Why is all knowing, when answered.
What else in concept or reality other than God is infinite other than the question why?

Well, I’d say, people are a little too fired up with all these ideas rumbling around their heads. I’m reminded of a description of a change of attitude of a young German fellow who was inducted into the Schutzstaffel. He said the sharp uniform made him feel like a Lord of the Earth. Bad combo, leaders with attitude and a bunch of guys in uniform with a fired up mentality.What individual responsibilty to others there was, flies out the window.

Sorry, I don’t understand. I was commenting on the militaristic attitude on any side in a conflict which causes suffering to people. By suffering,on the so called civilian side I mean total wipeout of their means of living, death, maiming and in the case of the military, sometimes carrying a disfiguring burn shot through till their death, many years later. Quite apart from the psychological trauma which can haunt on a neverending basis. No, I’m trying to present something of its real effects. Its easy to get fired up on ideas in your head.Until you are affected big time.

Okay, I have been listening to Alex for almost a year, thinking I’ve been catching up on the truth pretty good for being so old, but I admit when I heard Russia and Georgia were getting into it, I thought Georgia, USA. I realize now that I will never catch up on all of this stuff the school system screwed me ought of. Now I am hopeless just like the rest of them out there. We are all going to die, so I think I’ll forget the excercise, meditation and eating healthy while I proceed to get smashed. If I live through it until tomorrow, maybe I’ll do it again. There is a physiological fact that lies behind all this. Young people’s brains do not develop fully until they are in their mid twenties. They will take extraordinary risks because their development is immature.The same thing is evidenced in the sudden drop off of ofending behaviour by a lot of young crims after age 24. Their brains have matured into adulthood. Of course the military take advantage. Too bad for the kids they’ve conned, who die in a field with their guts spilling out,crying for their mothers.

I was Five and playing with toy soldiers in my grandfathers home with a cousin. Grandpa was a Korean War vet. We were saying stuff to each other like “I’m gonna kill you, I shot you, your dead” and so forth. He Yelled
“Hey, I dont want to hear anything about any goddamn killing or shooting, you hear me.” We slipped and did it again and he took it away and disciplined us. He refused a Military burial for his son. His wife refused a military burial for him. He was the consummate good American, but was scarred.
So I have been able to dwell on that for over 25 years.

I agree with your general summery over the last few posts. I was once in the military and after 9/11 there was a Evangelical/Dominionst coup that took the higher ranking positions after the good officers resigned out of protest. This battle against the NWO has its roots deeply buried in the Christian religion and I can’t understand why these so called Patriots can spout off with phrases like “No king but king jesus” and still claim they are fighting for freedom. Alex Jones fellow Christo-fascist Patriot Mark Keornke has claimed in his show that once the “Hot War” begins he along with his merry band of christian patriots are going to push the NWO and all the faiths unlike theirs off into the ocean.
The hazard is if you dive into the history behind the bible you will find out that is was created to instill slavey of the mind and was created by the founding fathers of the NWO to complete thier task of world domination. That is why several of the founding fathers of the U.S. had some terrible things to say about that book and the people who followed it.

I have a terrible habit of trying to understand other people. Eventually, you get to the realisation that there are a lot of people walking around with with crazy stuff n their heads. The ones running the show are the craziest of all. This U.S. sponsored attack on Russian interests, and that’s what it was, took place on 08/08/08. They are deep into this kind of territory. Jewish Georgian Minister Temur Yakobshvili on Sunday praised the Israel Defense Forces for its role in training Georgian troops and said Israel should be proud of its military might, in an interview with Army Radio.
“Israel should be proud of its military which trained Georgian soldiers,” Yakobashvili told Army Radio in Hebrew, referring to a private Israeli group Georgia had hired.
Yakobashvili, Georgia’s minister of reintegration, added that this training provided Georgia with the know-how needed to defend itself against Russian forces in the clashes which erupted last last week in the separatist region of South Ossetia.

Yakobashvili said that a small group of Georgian soldiers had able to wipe out an entire Russian military division due to this training.
“We killed 60 Russian soldiers just yesterday,” said Yakobashvili. “The Russians have lost more than 50 tanks, and we have shot down 11 of their planes. They have enormous damage in terms of manpower,”
Yakobashvili warned that the Russians would try and open another battlefront in Abkhazia and he denied reports that the Georgian army was retreating. “The Georgian forces are not retreating. We move our military according to security needs.”
“There was no attack on the airport in Tbilisi. It was a factory that produces combat airplanes,” said Yakobashvili referring to the attacks in the country’s capital.
“The whole world is starting to understand that what is happening here will determine the future of this region, the future price of crude oil, the future of central Asia, and the future of NATO,” the Georgian minister added.
According to him, “every bomb that falls over our heads is an attack on democracy, on the European Union and on America.”

A friend of mine applied for Conscientious Objector status during the Viet Nam War, and the Feds told him he needed to belong to an organized religion or an established Church in order to apply (WTF!), so he went to the Archiocese HQ of the RCC, where a Bishop told him that the RCC doesn’t support the idea of CO status because the RCC represents “God, Church and Country.” (WTF again!)
On hearing this, I posed the rhetorical question to my friend, “So what position does the RCC take when two nations go to war against each other? Does the RCC support BOTH sides? What I have subsequently learned is that the anwswer to my question is “Yes, the RCC often supports BOTH sides, as it did during WW2.”
Since adolescence it has been my belief that people of independent mind and spirit should only support those causes and those institutions that truly represent the needs, aspirations, and values of themselves and also of the people that they care about.
The Viet Nam War (and also the current Iraq and Afghan Wars) was not in the interest of the average American or of the average citizen of Viet Nam. The US government’s opposition to communism may benefit the wealthy, but it does not benefit the average American. I’d rather have a bit less than be involved in aggression and exploitation of other nations in order to have a bit more.
Standing armies should be regarded with grave suspicion, as should nations that aggress, exploit, or colonize other nations.
In the chessboard of life, many arrogant men choose to be soldiers in the service of the wealthy elites. They claim that they fight for the virtues of freedon and justice, but in fact they fight for their wealthy masters and the crumbs that their masters throw them.
No reasonable person should undertake the risk or the responsibility of fighting unless it is in the true interest of themselves and of those they care about. The US government and the US military have never met those criteria; certainly not in my lifetime. A true hero fights for a righteous cause; no one who has served in the US military during the past 63 years qualifies for that distinction.

So,….if somebody is coercing compliance from the sheeple, it has to be someone that would use force to control others.
Since we’ve established that god doesn’t do that, it must be satan.
Whenever you call for ‘those people’ to be controlled you call on satan to do what he does. When you call in the name of god you just add blasphemy to your list of wrongs against the peace of the world.

I completely agree with you Gregory. The whole notion of Satan and Hell is a projection of an unhealthy state. It is my conviction that there is a Loving God – Hell and all religous dogma for that matter is just an obstacle to experiencing the truth.

For those who preach that Satan is a figment of the Christians, Jews or Muslims, it would do them good to read about the doctrines of each of those religions and study them in detail to find out which promote the use of force to convert people to their faction and also to note which of those religions preaches love, forgiveness, peace and selfless giving. From then on please study the history to find out which religion’s followers suffered most because of their beliefs.
If you are honest in your quest you will without doubt come to the conclusion that it is Christianity which preaches love, forgiveness, peace and selfless giving and that it is the Christians which suffered the most oppression and martyrdom under the Romans (atheists), Ottomans (Muslims), Turks (Muslims)and Arabs (Muslims again) and if you ask yourself why is Christianity being denigrated, persecuted and opposed, you will come to the conclusion that it is because it preaches love, tolerance, peace and selfless giving and because it preaches that God who came to the world as Jesus Christ is the savior. You will immediately realize that the only being who opposes God is Satan just as his name means adversary and the opposer.
Then my friend you will come to the conclusion that Satan is real and anyone who denies his existence is merely misguided by him, simply because knowing the truth will free you from Satan’s domination and he surely does not want you to get out of his control.
Too bad that some after reading this would still choose to remain misguided and either discredit the discussion or not do their homework to study in depth the three religions to verify for themselves the truth in what I am saying.

I believe this to be the biggest problem we face. There are lots of people going along with this because it nurses their egos and they can make believe they are part of the establishment. There are others who are afraid but go on with their lives thinking they are insignificant to this huge problem.
This whole globalization deal could easily collapse like a house of cards – the police state isn’t in place yet, which is why we are not being marched off to camps. They haven’t won yet. Stick with the living among us Katz.
These people live in fear yet none among us will rise up against them. It would be justice to hang them from street lamps, but wise not to. We have chosen the path of wisdom. They need for us to choose justice over wisdom and start killing each other for this to work – too many people are learning the BIG truth for that. I don’t mind lawyers and politicians living in fear though – its probably harder on them than us. They have to always look over their shoulder, not from us, but from their “friends”.
