U.S. court rules Saudi Arabia immune in 9/11 case

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, four princes and other Saudi entities are immune from a lawsuit filed by victims of the September 11 attacks and their families alleging they gave material support to al Qaeda, a federal appeals court ruled on Thursday.
The ruling by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan upheld a 2006 ruling by U.S. District Judge Richard Casey dismissing a claim against Saudi Arabia, a Saudi charity, four princes and a Saudi banker of providing material support to al Qaeda before the September 11 attacks.
The victims and their families argued that because the defendants gave money to Muslim charities that in turn gave money to al Qaeda, they should be held responsible for helping to finance the attacks.

The appeals court found that the defendants are protected under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
The court also noted that exceptions to the immunity rule do not apply because Saudi Arabia has not been designated a state sponsor of terrorism by the U.S. State Department.

According to the 911 report none of the 911 hijackers were from Iraq. But 14 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, and Bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia. So we attack Iraq and grant immunity to Saudi Arabia. How does that make sense?

David It’s not suppose to make sense. We wouldn’t want anything to make sense now would we? To begin with how do you really know for sure that Bin Laden was a part of this? The evidence overwhelmingly points to an inside job & yet it has been business as usual with the criminal puppets we have at the helm. If you actually believe the so called official 9-11 report I know of some beach front in Denver you can get real cheap. (that too may be a reality soon enough)

someone should sue cheney, afterall he was in charge of norad that morning, and he has continued to reep the profits from his former corporation even though he is on national television stating that he was going to forfeit any and all benefits from his former employers as due to the ‘conflict of interest’. i would thing that some sharp attorney would be able to make this stick, as they did with “oj”. although, finding a judge that would actually preside fairly over a trial might be tough to find.
anyway, nothing surprising in this article.

Interesting comments of course the US courts aren’t going to rule against the Saudi elites, because Bush senior is the portflio manager for their interest in the Carlye group. Why should they receive immunity if they didn’t do anything wrong? What “evidence” was presented? Learning anything may be the biggest fear. Read this article I found and studied which may explain why no one wants any case to go to trial regarding 911. If anything this example below may help the Saudi’s:
After 6 years of research I am unable to find a single piece of verifiable evidence of any kind that any of the 4 planes existed on 911. Nothing. I am willing to take a single speck if I can verify it. To this date…..nothing.
Out of 250+ victims on the “planes” totaling tens of thousands of family members…..only ONE person has ever come forward to question 911. ONE….and that poor woman has been brutalized and threatened every day since doing so.
By exposing that there were no planes on 911….you expose something much greater. Trillions of dollars in business are at stake should it become common knowledge that there were no planes. The media itself would be criminally liable, not to mention the “War on Terror, government, agencies, law enforcement, witnesses, videographers who doctored their films days after 911, insurance fraud into the 100’s of Billions etc. Just the mere mention of no planes will have you thrown out of even the most open minded meetings on 911.
