Governments will often try to disguise the true rate of inflation through a variety of techniques. These can include the following:
* Outright lying in official statistics such as money supply, inflation or reserves.
* Suppression of publication of money supply statistics, or inflation indices.
* Price and wage controls.
* Forced savings schemes, designed to suck up excess liquidity. These savings schemes may be described as pensions schemes, emergency funds, war funds, or something similar.
* Adjusting the components of the Consumer price index, to remove those items whose prices are rising the fastest.

Step 1. seriously prepare yourself mentally for complete collapse….this collapse is a positive change, no revolution could have accomplished what is about to crumble. Greed from within caused this collapse so remember to consider this as a positive good thing.
Step 2. Don’t worry about things beyond your control, you are a spiritial being first and foremost and need to trust your intuition and self guidance more.
Step 3. True change only happens when real things happen, make something real happen.
Step 4. Get into shape physically, don’t wait do it or
Step 5. Get rid of your T.V.
Step 6. Realize the opposite of fear is Love, love is the only truth and is the most powerful weapon in the universe.

Ben is right.
The collapse of the US financial system was planned by the elite because the country was once a robust democracy and resistant to the NWO.
The financial crisis and hyperinflation could all be seen coming, and here they are coming…..
Everyone should use the time now to prepare mentally.
Remember, fear is not an option. Fear paralyses. If you find yourself getting anxious about the future because your savings have gone, your job has gone, your house has gone, remember you can survive very well if you go back to the basics like the original pioneers and even have electricity if you build your own solar panels for a few hundred bucks or use hydropower by building mini plants if you’re close to a river.
To stay calm, try techniques like Yoga.
Remember too, people are stronger in groups.
Form networks.
Guard against infiltrators like that guy who outed himself Brendan Darby, who want to disrupt networks.
Work out a sensible plan for how you and your community are going to get shelter, food and water.
Remember, human beings can live very well on little.
My granddad had a great old wooden house with petroleum lamps and a stove and it was fine. He had fruits trees in the garden.
Use gardens and land to grow food and fruit again.
Make your own solar panels cheaply and power your laptop and other electrical equipment, such as cell phones. and even recharge a battery for a car or motor bike.
Convert your engine to an electrical powered one. There are kits to do this.
Organise a local defence group, and a local co op to store and dsitribute food supplies. Organise a committee to oversea all resources to guard against corruption. Corruption destroys a community and in the end, everyone loses.
Get back to the pioneering spirit. Toughness, self reliance, forward planning and cooperation will be the keys to building a good future.

Great advice Ben! I would also add the following:
1) Get combat ready: that means USMC fitness level. Learn how to fight with martial arts.
2) Buy field clothing, rugged clothes that can be worn in all weathers.
3) Build up your skills: how to make things, how to play music, sing: this will stand you in good stead.
4) Get in touch with your sexuality: sex is a great stress release tool and will keep you happy when things are grim. Don’t turn to drugs; drugs are for losers.
5) Hedge your wealth like a mo-fo: don’t rely on any one thing. You need back up plans and redundency because things will fail and let you down. You need escape routes.
6) Build up your family and friend network: you are going to need these people a lot, and they will need you. Stick to your own group.

We need a peaceful revolution. We have too much government that is making us poorer.
Remember at the polls that you do have other choices. Find out who all of the official candidates are and not just the ones that the media heavily markets.
Otherwise we will have martial law; many people believe it’s already too late.
But it’s your choice. Ignore the media. Be a man about it and do your homework.

Kudos and praise for each one of you level-headed and wise commentors. I love seeing such a positive rebuttal to a grim (though pretty much true) appraisal of things.
I live in a rural county with a small population (15,000 – 17,000) and a small neighborhood a few miles from the nearest town to boot. I agree that being close to your neighbors, as well as working in tandem with them is the best thing anyone can do, during economical prosperous or tight times, war or peace, feast or famine.
I plan to coordinate with my neighbors so we can cooperatively take advantage of the coming growing season. There are already some few-year-old fruit trees planted around the neighborhood, many of the residents are woodsmen and hunters, skilled craftsmen such as carpenters, brickmasons and the like and mechanically inclined.
No matter what happens, this is going to be a very interesting year, in which we see the best and/or the worst of many people. I look forward to seeing many people make it through the coming hard times with high spirits.

This might sound naive, maybe foolish, but I feel like this crazy ride I will be forced to take after the collapse will give me a more fulfilling meaning in life. Meaning is a subjective notion for different people. I feel like if the collapse leads me to have to work within my family or become close to others who also need help, it might be better for me in the long haul of life. I also feel good knowing that I’m big and can intimidate anyone trying to hurt me, maybe the cops will respect that. Probably not though, they’re all insecure maniacs with self-image problems.
I have been telling my family and friends a resounding “TOLD YOU SO” about the oncoming collapse. But it doesn’t always feel good to be right.

What about folks like me who are without family and friends? I do not agree with the complete doomsday predictions on this site. Yes, things are bad and will get worse. However, the entire planet is in this mess as well. Clear heads, preparation and making good friends with neighbors are the key to solving this as well as cleaning house of the corrupt government officials who support the bankster criminals.

There are only three thing we all need to live. Food, clothing and shelter. You can not eat gold, wear it or build a shelter out of it. Someone would steal it. It’s all bogus. The idea that the dollar has ever been worth anything is all in your mind. Gold’s value is only what we give it.
Until we realize that what ever we choose as our bartering symbol for goods is just a symbol and nothing else, we will find ourselves back in this same spot over and over again. We the people need to be in control of our government and our government needs to control all money. To lend it with little or no interest. To control it’s supply. For those who think we can ‘meditate’ alone, be warned: the riots in Oakland the other day and the complete breakdown in law and order after Katrina are just dry runs for what’s coming. Pay attention because the US has a lot of very feral and nasty people who will be let loose and will be hunting for treasure and ‘pu-ssay’, as they say. If, the economy colapse so what, are you pople that relyed on there way of life, people have lived good lives with out these types of systems, worrying about tomorrows, wows, will only complicate you more and more, I for one dont stress over this crap like i have in the past, its not worth it, theres allways another way, dont allow them to cause you to panic, plan perpair and live your life in the NOW, enjoy it while you can.. and thats about that,. dwelling on this crap, only makes it worse and brings out the hate inyourself…

Well funny thing about the fed printing all this cash is that the panic stricken banks are hoarding it all up and only a small “non-inflated” amount is being circulated rothchild has inadvertadly solved their own problem. The run on the bank and reluctance of banks to make short term loans to eachother.

You give everything it’s value including money. Many things have come and gone that were once worth something but now are worthless. What made them worth something? YOU! That is it folks. It’s really that simple. If you were out in the desert and was on your last jug of water hoping to find more would you sell it for a large amount of gold? NO because the water would have more value to you. You can’t drink the gold and if you have nothing to drink you would die. YOU are the one that gives value to things. If you want to think that the US Dollar is worthless you will get your wish. If you want to think that you should pull your money out of the banks because your scared that things will get bad then you will get your wish. We create the value of everything. Money is a bartering tool that is all! My goods and services for your goods and services. Mental Depression will follow Economic Depression for many people and they are intertwined. Choosing to opt out of the system entirely, if done on a large scale, would diminish foreign interests.
Living off of our tribute would be difficult if a large segments chose to stop buying/selling in FRNs, chose to voluntarily cease assessing their own taxes, traded with one another outside the credit system, and had alternatives to the tyrannical banking system…
Government’s only power is the exchange where We The People (the true power) give our CONSENT. Merely recinding it will entangle the foreign interests (ie- the NWO) with their stooges (the “authorities” and “officials”).

It’s funny (actually sad) to see everyone remove God and the teachings of the Holy Bible from our Schools and our Government and then act astonished when corruption enters and the whole system fails. For the greenback to crash it has to have something to crash against. Perhaps the gold-oil backed Dinar as considered by the Arab states. Perhaps the Rusky-Sino alliance will put a monetary value on the resources of Siberia and come up with a resource-backed currency. Things being what they are now and future events occurring in a vacuum
one might expect a global symmetrical slow burn until that exact point where a suitable alternative to the Federal Reserve Note arises. Those first few countries whose gubmn’ts implode in the course of the symmetrical slow-burn will be the source of solutions. They will have to morph and will arrive at remedies, one or two of which will take hold and spread. The first to arrive at a working solution will become the recipient of “capital flight” from the other countries, and at that point he symmetrical slow-burn will become asymmetrical, a crash.
The status quo is toast. May the best innovation survive. And for those who fear the NWO, globalism is the status quo. We’re probably witnessing the rise of localization.
