Two strikes by a suspected US drone have killed at least four people in Pakistan’s tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, witnesses say.
Witnesses told a Press TV correspondent that five people were also wounded after the Sunday attack which targeted a house in Gangi Khel region in South Waziristan.
Officials expect the casualties to rise.
Washington has stepped up its missile strikes inside Pakistan since last year, claiming the operations are aimed at countering Taliban and Al Qaeda militants operating in the country.
The raids have killed scores of civilians.
Islamabad has strongly condemned the attacks as violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
