US missile defence system aimed at Russia: Medvedev

SOCHI, Russia (AFP) – The missile defence system that the United States intends to place in eastern Europe is aimed at Russia, President Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday.
“The deployment of new missile defence facilities in Europe is aimed against the Russian Federation,” Medvedev said at a news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
