US planned nerve gas tests on Australian soldiers

THE US military planned to test deadly nerve gas on Australian soldiers in far north Queensland during the Cold War, declassified documents reveal.
The Defence and Prime Minister’s office files show that the US was strongly pushing then prime minister Harold Holt’s government in the 1960s to allow tests of two of the deadliest chemical weapons ever developed — VX and GB, better known as Sarin nerve gas.
The revelation airs this morning on the Nine Network’s Sunday program.

It says the top secret plan involved allowing 200 mainly Australian combat troops to be aerially bombed and sprayed with the chemical weapons.
It’s understood the Iron Range rainforest near Lockhart River in far north Queensland was the likely location for the tests.

As an Australian, the proposed killing of our soldiers was diabolical, even if they survived they would have been affected for years. This is also round about the time that the US military weirdos were proposing operation ‘Northwoods”, to create war with Cuba.
Still some in the US (and here) do not believe that the US government would deliberately murder allies and their own people for some advantage.
That is the basis for many not to examine the 911 mass murders and allowing Pearl Harbor ‘To Happen”.
America,I do not think you have changed and to think that we Aussies have supported you lot for so long, so;

You have every right to be angry. Just remember one thing, it is not the proletariat, it is the money changers. They are an evil group as you probably know, comprised of the likes of the Bilderburgs, Rothchilds (there’s one to research), Duponts, Trilateralists, Skull & Bones, et. al. Isn’t it interesting that the ONLY time Jesus Christ ever used physical force was against those deplorable verman? One last point, It is ONE World Government they are after, so even though your gov. hasn’t played as horrific part in the sceme of things, I assure you they, the powers that be are at work there also. God help us all.

I read the letters from McNamamara and the Australian cables.
I do not see anythng that indicates a test in where Australian Soldiers were going to unprotected and gasssed to death. I suggest Sweet F A you read them before assuming and jumping to an unproven conclusion.
It also states it is a joint operation in which US personnel would be involved. How Aussie news determined 200 Aussie troops were to be gassed is also, a huge assumption. The US or Australia would have no need to gas their own people when medical lab and animal testing would suffice. I am sure at this point we knew that the gas worked in killing people.
The only mention of human invovlement in the test that I saw was the effect of the “agents persistence” in the test area which I relate to troop movments after the area was sprayed or bombed and again nothing to indicate that the troops would all be Aussie or US. Again you would have to assume they would be unprotected nothing indicates that they would be,so I would imagine that if they were simulating the after effects they would be wearing the required protective gear. Which you could test for trace amounts coming from contact with equipment and foilage.
