US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was hospitalized in New York on Sunday after doctors discovered a blood clot, CNN reported.
The blood clot was discovered during a follow-up medical examination concerning Clinton’s concussion that she suffered in mid-December after fainting.
CNN cited Philippe Reines, a deputy assistant secretary of state, as saying that Clinton would remain in New York Presbyterian Hospital for the next 48 hours under constant attention of doctors, who treat her with anti-coagulants.
