this could be a first step in upscaling towards a war with one or all of those nations sanctioned. With the economy going down, the US will have to find an enemy of the month to attack. Once an enemy is established, they beat the drums of war, fire up patriotism, then use it all as justification to start up the military industrial complex. presto! end of recession/depression.

Is there no one who can slap sanctions on the US for supplying weapons to terrorist nations? Has the US or UN ever thought of putting sanctions on Israel for its clandestine nuclear program which it refuses to acknowledge or allow UN
Inspectors or the IAEA into the Dimona plant? (No anti semitic charges please these are valid questions) This only highlights the selectivity and double standards of the US and UN on definitions on who breaks international law and who is immune to it!

I’m sure the leaders of these three countries are shaking in the boots. The U.S., which is responsible for the murder of millions is hardly in a position to claim any high moral ground.

Rather, these now meaningless gestures by the U.S. appear to be posturing by a failed Empire, with its economy crashing and sliding increasingly into fascist corporatism and a police state. We are unfortunate to have front row seats for this debacle.
