The U.S. and Swiss governments and banking giant UBS indicated Sunday they were seeking a settlement and asked a federal judge to delay high-stakes hearings on the Internal Revenue Service’s effort to identify thousands of suspected American tax evaders.
The one-page motion, filed in Miami less than 24 hours before the hearings were to begin Monday, said postponement is needed “to allow the two governments to continue their discussions seeking a resolution of this matter.”
Unless a deal is reached beforehand, the filing asks that the hearing be rescheduled for Aug. 3.

U.S. District Judge Alan S. Gold did not immediately rule on the request, but judges routinely allow parties in civil cases extra time to settle out of court. Such a deal would likely include a large penalty against UBS and possibly require the bank to reveal at least some names, tax experts say.
The case seeking the identities of some 52,000 wealthy American clients suspected of hiding $15 billion at UBS has already sent shock waves through the international banking system.

No. No delay, if the IRS is so hot to expose the evildoers, lets see how many are in Government high paying jobs, or are they trying to cover their own butts? they either expose everyone, or no one – I’m sick of selected enforcement and cover ups.

If the list were mostly Republicans, it would have been leaked by now. Washington Post could get this if they wanted it. A lot more has been leaked in a lot less time. A couple bucks in the right hands would have done it by now if the Government/Media complex wanted it done. Don’t make me out a Republican, they also make me ill. The Founders said not to do political parties. The founders said that political parties were just how the greed gets organized. New Wikipedia entry. ‘Political Party’. Definition—’organized greed.’

If they are looking for tax cheats, shouldn’t IRS should first visit retired US Senator Tom Dashle, and the current Secretary of the Treasury Timmy Gaitner? They should be a lot less trouble to find…..

Here’s a fucking question Geniuses:
If they (The Federal Reserve of which the IRS is the Collection Agent) can create money out of thin air, why the fuck are they taxing people?
Google Beardsley Rumel’s (head of the Fed Bank) “Taxation for Revenue is Obsolete”

Because doing this as the totality of money produced will inevitably lead to runaway inflation. Give an addict crack and access to unlimited supply of the product and what happens?
Plus making people work and pay taxes keeps them occupied and their prying eyes/minds otherwise busy while those enjoying the fruits of their labour enjoy it.

Oh, and one more thing:
Show me the part of the Internal Revenue Code that make ME liable for the payment of Income Taxes.
I want the Section Number and the Part number.
The IRS is no different than an organized criminal organization because the 16th Amendment, as now has been PROVEN (http://www.thelawthatneverwas.com), was NOT ratified by the States and Philander Knox (then Sec. of State) committed FRAUD when he stamped the Amendment as ratified ANYWAY.
Philander Knox should have been PROSECTUED for FRAUD.

I simply refuse to be a slave to the Plutocrats.
They might kill me.
But I’ll die a free man with a clean conscious.
Other people will be content to be their slaves and to pay the cost of their own enslavement.
