US wants more Nato troops for new Afghanistan surge

President Obama is to ask members of Nato to provide up to 4,000 more troops to help to break the deadlock in Afghanistan.
Mr Obama is poised to confirm a surge of more than 30,000 US combat troops, according to senior military sources. He will also urge the rest of Nato to provide thousands of soldiers to train new recruits to the Afghan National Army (ANA).

His appeal is set to be largely ignored, however. At present only two Nato members have offered more troops — Britain and Turkey — and no other country is expected to come up with any, according to alliance sources. Such a response would threaten the credibility of the alliance in Afghanistan and represent a considerable snub for Mr Obama, who was viewed as a welcome change after the administration of President Bush.
Nato military officials are to meet in Belgium on November 23 at a “force generation” conference in which each ally will be asked to contribute towards the expansion of the ANA, either by sending extra trainers or more money for the training programme.

Why, Are they wanting to step up opium production again?
The amount of heroin leaving Afghanistan has RISEN dramatically since the US moved in to act as HIRED MUSCLE for the drug barons (Karzai’s brother being the main one).
The US is merely there to protect the FIELDS OF DEATH/MISERY.
Heroin is BIG MONEY, CORRUPTION IS RAMPANT.

Of course it’s way up! US imperialism has completely destroyed their economy. Poppy fields are all they have left. But this just lets the CIA continue their drug running into the poor cities in the US. When they have all the young, angry and poverty stricken youth hooked, then these new slaves will fit right in the NWO.

Firstly, being against these foreign war does not constitute being unsupportive of individual soldiers. Secondly, these soldiers are volunteers and professional fighters so they are no so lily livered that democratic debate offends their sensibilities.
It is only rightwing, zionist favouring war enthusiasts that try to brow beat those critical of the neocon agenda.

War hawks should be patient. They will get their wish. 250 thousand American troops will use Afghanistan as a staging ground to conquer Russia And China. The victorious army should arrive in Moscow And Beijing in less than 30 days. But they will have to climb over the vodka bottles and rice bowls left behind by the retreating armies.
