Viral Success Of Obama Joker Posters Panics Authorities
Campaign proves grass roots can send powerful message even in an age of corporate controlled media lockdown

The Obama Joker posters are still spreading virally across the country and the world as the authorities panic at the power of the grass roots to reach the masses almost in an instant, flying in the face of an establishment media which is controlled by a handful of powerful corporations.
The success of the Obama Joker poster campaign, started anonymously in Los Angeles and amplified after it was incorporated into an Infowars contest, can be measured against the achievements of America’s foremost contemporary street artist, Shepard Fairey, who was responsible for designing the Obama “HOPE” flyers that were posted in public places before the 2008 presidential election, an image labeled “the most efficacious American political illustration since ‘Uncle Sam Wants You’” by New Yorker art critic Peter Schjeldahl.
Fairey admitted that he was in contact with the Obama campaign team following the release of the early versions of his poster, and that they directed him in creating new posters. The original poster carried the word “PROGRESS,” but this was later changed to “HOPE” on the insistence of the Obama campaign, along with two other versions which read, “VOTE” and “CHANGE”.
President Obama himself later wrote to Fairey expressing his gratitude to the designer for putting out the images and also lending support for people who were posting them in public, an action which attracted little attention from the authorities, who on the contrary reacted hysterically to the anti-Obama Joker posters and immediately sought arrests and denounced the flyers as “vandalism,” characterizing them as some kind of assault on “victims” of a dastardly crime.
Fairey was largely dismissive of the Obama Joker poster, rather pedantically arguing that it wasn’t grammatically correct because the word should have been “socialist” not “socialism,” but he was forced to admit that the posters sent a powerful message.
“The artwork is great in that it gets a point across really quickly,” Fairey told the L.A. Times. “The Joker is a sinister, evil character that can’t be trusted. And if they want to make that parallel with Obama — bam.”

It took the best part of a decade for Fairey’s iconic “Andre the Giant Has a Posse” street art to go viral, but in the Internet age, the Obama Joker image has already trumped it in a matter of weeks.
The flyers have already hit Wall Street, Tokyo Japan, Berlin Germany, and hundreds of towns and cities across America.
Attempts on behalf of authorities and the media to propagate the contrived hoax that the majority of people are “disgusted” by the image have been proven fraudulent by polls showing that most people support the first amendment rights of people to post the flyers.
Likewise, efforts to chill free speech and intimidate people from exercising their first amendment have merely been met with an intensified effort to post more and more of the Obama Joker posters.
Early claims that the poster had racist overtones were shot down when images were unearthed of George W. Bush depicted as the Joker, as well as a blood-sucking vampire. Lazy attempts to play the race card in an attempt to dismiss the grass roots power of the Obama as Joker meme failed completely.
Indeed, caricatures of political figures have been part of the fabric of American society for hundreds of years. Satirical lampooning of authority figures by means of stylized cartoonish parodies is an American tradition, and has nothing whatsoever to do with racism.
The success of the Obama Joker poster campaign, concurrent with Obama’s rapidly sinking popular approval figures, is proof that even in the face of a locked down corporate media owned by a handful of interests, the people can still communicate with the masses and obtain instant recognition by means of viral campaigns coordinated through the alternative media and the Internet.

Closing down the Internet was a topic Alex put on this site for quite some time. However, I have not read much about attempts to censor free speech. This is the most effective tool we have. If it was in any way marginalized, the subsequent uproar will make the town hall meetings seem like cub scouts roasting marshmellows besides a roraring campfire.

Hey everybody,
A while back my buddy and I were sitting in my car at a red light discussing stuff. Our windows were down, so our conversation carried outside fairly easy to other motorists and pedestrians that were within earshot. The conversation turned to manufactured crisis as my friend started to give me a hypothisis on ‘false-flag’ events. Suddenly, our conversation was disrupted by the driver that was waiting for the green signal to my right.
The driver, a middle-aged-white male, slammed the door of his 1975 Pinto sending flakes of rust everywhere. The man, was about 5′8″ 248lbs. His pants were a pair of cut-off jeans that were about two sizes too small. He wore a ‘Smokey the Bear’ replica hat and sunglasses of the mirrored variety, and his white t-shirt was cut off at the sleeves and tied in a knot at the waist revealing an ‘outsie’ naval surrounded by thick coverings of man hair. The man’s five ‘o clock shadow face became contorted as he pointed an index finger with chipping red nail polish at my friend. In a voice that sounded much like Mike Tyson’s he said;
“I’m tired of being called a false-fag! I’ll have you know that I’m a real FAG” The man stood there waiting for a response but my friend and I looked at each other and started roaring with a laughter closer to hysteria. The light turned green. The cars behind us started to honk their horns. The man turned on the heels of his flip-flops and made for his car door. Two patches occupied the back pockets of his very tight bluejean cutoff shorts. The left side read; “RECON” while the left side read “MARINE.”

This story is interesting. A poster has been circulating comparing Obama to The Joker. It’s a picture of Obama edited to show him in makeup, looking like The Joker. I’m surprised that The Daily Show or The Colbert Report hasn’t done a bit on this poster. That’s an interesting bit of censorship.
Such a poster is offensive and interesting, because it reflects a deeper hidden truth. All politicians/statists are as insane as the Joker. Statists use fancy language to justify their theft.
If politicians went around acting exactly like The Joker, then the scam would be obvious. Instead, they mirror the body language of a real leader. Insiders use the illusion of State legitimacy to cover up their crimes. Now that I can see the fnords, politicians *ARE* acting exactly like The Joker. It’s a sophisticated but transparent disguise.
The pro-State trolling in that article was interesting. “The Joker is an anarchist. He goes around destroying things.”
That is an important aspect of pro-State brainwashing. “If you’re opposed to government, then you go around blowing up stuff and destroying things.” The reality is that more wealth has been destroyed/stolen by bailouts and government than any terrorist could ever hope to accomplish.
The reality is that Obama and Congress have destroyed more property than the Joker ever could.
If I had my own comedy show or YouTube channel, I’d do a sketch about an interview with The Joker. The Joker would be complaining about how Obama totally outdid him, and he’s embarrassed that he hasn’t been able to destroy as much property as Obama. “My mother always told me that, if you want to steal or destroy trillions of dollars and hurt millions of people, you should become a Congressman or President. UPDATE: We were up in seattle for hempfest, a pro marijuana gathering The posters where everywhere. My girlfriend and I were excited to see ‘em. Interestingly enough someone had torn down all the obama posters [Just scraps remained] and left the bush posters alone. Also they put up a bill of rights.

Omega A: Jim is correct to state that many christians don’t know their own doctrine. Actually though, it is the doctrine of the church they know more, than the original ideals. Because of this preminance of church doctrine over the original gnosis, I called this religion “churchianity.”
One classic example that has always been ignored or glossed over by churchianity is their bitter dislike of the occult truism of the natural process of REINCARNATION, which occurs whether you believe in it or not, just as the snow falls in winter, whether welcome or not…..
I’ll present data anent the period in history when the Church of Rome, under extreme pressure from Emperor Justinian, made the “doctrine” of reincarnation anathma, at the 5th Ecumenical council in the 5th century AD:
“Nowadays, there is little doubt that early Christians gave more credence to the concept of rebirth than was later the case. The main figure responsible for this change was no churchman but an ambitious, worldly and powerful figure Emperor Justinius. In the year 553, quite independently of the Pope, Justinius had the teachings of the church father Origen (185-253) banned by a synod. Origen had spoken out in unmistakable terms on the question of the repeated incarnations of the soul:
“Each soul enters the world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defects of its past lives. Its place in this world is determined by past virtues and shortcomings.”
“Is it not more in accordance with common sense that every soul for reasons unknown — I speak in accordance with the opinions of Pythagoras, Plato and Empedokles — enters the body influenced by its past deeds? The soul has a body at its disposal for a certain period of time which, due to its changeable condition, eventually is no longer suitable for the soul, whereupon it changes that body for another.” Contra Celsum.”
Andreas goes on to describe how Emperor Justinius managed to manipulate the 5th Ecumenical Council in 553 which resulted in the ban against Origen: “Strangely enough, there was not one Roman bishop present at this conference; apart from six African notables there were only Eastern bishops present. A curious feature of this Council was that although Pope Vigilius was in Constantinople at the time of the Council he did not attend. There had previously been conflict between Vigilius and the Emperor and the Empress Theodora. Justinius refused to accede to the Pope’s request for a stronger delegation of bishops from both West and East at the Council and then proceeded to convene the Council himself. The Pope did not attend, as a gesture of protest, and as an indication that he would not be held responsible for the Council. The ruling monarch did not have an entirely free hand, however, since official regulations drawn up during the eight sessions of the Council, which met over a period of four weeks, had to be officially endorsed by the Pope. This duly took place; the documents, however, only dealt with the so-called ‘Three Chapters’ controversy — the work of three scholars considered by Justinius to be heretics. The Emperor had already issued an edict against these men. No mention was made of Origen. Research suggests that suspicions about Justinius were valid. Neither Pope Plagius I (556-561) nor Pope Gregorius (590-604) mentioned Origen when writing about the 5th Council.”
But up to now it has been accepted tacitly that the following is the official ban of the Council: “Whosoever teaches the doctrine of a supposed pre-birth existence of the soul, and speaks of a monstrous restoration of this, is cursed.””How did this come about? No-one can say with certainty, but there are strong indications that by some ploy the Emperor Justinius was able to insist on the convocation of a Council, which was delayed, however, by opposition from the Pope. Eventually the first meeting of the Council took place on 5 May 553, not before the Emperor had managed to call several bishops to a meeting at which he (Justinius) presented his ‘Fifteen Anathemata’ refuting Origen’s teachings, and gained the endorsement of the attending bishops. We can safely conclude that the Pope, who wished to boycott the Council, would certainly not have appeared at this meeting, which was precisely what Justinius had hoped for. The meeting prior to the Council was used by the wily Emperor to curtail the Pope’s powers and to pronounce a ban on the teachings of Origen. His scheming succeeded far better than he could have imagined. The church accepted the ban as valid, having been imposed by the Council, and it then passed into established doctrine where it has remained for the past 1500 years. This makes the idea extremely difficult to correct. The subject of reincarnation has therefore not played any role in Christian doctrine, in contrast with other religions.
“Thus it seems right to conclude that the ‘ban’ on the teaching of reincarnation is based on historical misrepresentation and has no ecclesiastical authority. It was in fact a ‘fait accompli’, brought about by Justinius, which no-one within the Christian church has dared to challenge in the course of some 1500 years.
