MANASSAS, Va. – Agueda Dominguez had just left work on was on her way to a mortgage lender to stop foreclosure on her house, but ended up battered, bloody and bruised, in the hospital, and in jail!
The problem began when she was stopped by police on February 2. Through an interpreter, she says the officer asked for her license.
“I looked in my pants like always. I have it in my pocket. Oh my God, I left it in my other pants.” says Dominguez. She says she gave him her social security card and her green card.

The officer gave her a traffic summons for driving without a license and a taillight that didn’t work. When he asked her to sign it, she says she refused because she didn’t understand. “I need someone who speaks Spanish I told him 3 times, the third time he says sign it.”
That’s when she says things got out of hand.
“He moved to get his pepper spray, he put it toward my eye, he said sign it or I will spray you.” She says he sprayed her, grabbed her, hit her several times and threw her on the ground.
