Washington Post: 20,000 More U.S. Troops To Be Deployed For “Domestic Security”
As part of long term agenda to establish “military form of government,” combat likely unrest following total economic collapse

The Washington Post today reports on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack.
“The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials,” reports the Post.
“Domestic emergency deployment may be “just the first example of a series of expansions in presidential and military authority,” or even an increase in domestic surveillance, said Anna Christensen of the ACLU’s National Security Project. And Cato Vice President Gene Healy warned of “a creeping militarization” of homeland security.”
As Alex Jones exposed back in the late 1990’s, U.S. troops have been training for this eventuality for a considerable amount of time. During numerous urban warfare drills that Jones attended and reported on, troops were trained to raid, arrest and imprison U.S. citizens in detention camps as well as taking over public buildings and running checkpoints. During role playing exercises, actors playing prisoners would scream “I’m an American citizen, I have rights” as they were being dragged away by troops.
The contention that the troops will merely help “recovery efforts” after a major catastrophe is contradicted by the fact that Northcom itself, in a September 8 Army Times article, said the first wave of the deployment, which was put in place on October 1st at Fort Stewart and at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, would be aimed at tackling “civil unrest and crowd control”.
After a controversy arose surrounding the admissions made in the Army Times article, Northcom retracted the claim but conceded that both lethal and non-lethal weaponry traditionally used in crowd control and riot situations would still be used in the field.

The increasing militarization of America is part of a long term agenda to abolish Constitutional rule and establish a “military form of government,” following a large scale terror attack or similar disaster, as Tommy Franks, the former commander of the military’s Central Command, alluded to in a November 2003 Cigar Aficionado piece.
Franks outlined the scenario by which martial law would be put in place, saying, “It means the potential of a weapon of mass destruction and a terrorist, massive, casualty-producing event somewhere in the Western world – it may be in the United States of America – that causes our population to question our own Constitution and to begin to militarize our country in order to avoid a repeat of another mass, casualty-producing event. Which in fact, then begins to unravel the fabric of our Constitution. Two steps, very, very important.”
In the short term, the domestic deployment of troops is likely aimed at combating likely civil unrest that will ensue after a complete economic collapse followed by a devastating period of hyperinflation.
This warning was again echoed a few days ago in a leaked internal memo from Citibank.
“The world is not going back to normal after the magnitude of what they have done. When the dust settles this will either work, and the money they have pushed into the system will feed through into an inflation shock,” wrote Tom Fitzpatrick, Citibank’s chief technical strategist.
The memo predicts “depression, civil disorder and possibly wars” as a fallout from an economic collapse that many say is on the horizon.
Naturally, the claim that such troop deployments are merely to aid in disaster relief efforts is a thin veil aimed at distracting from the real goal. Should a real tragedy occur, volunteers and already existing civil aid organizations are fully capable of dealing with such events, as we witnessed on 9/11.
The military are primarily trained to kill people and break things, and their role during the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts was mainly focused on detaining people in sports stadiums, shooting alleged looters and seizing guns from wealthy home owners in the high and dry areas, while real recovery measures were left to volunteers and local state authorities.
The open admission that U.S. troops will be involved in law enforcement operations as well as potentially using non-lethal weapons against American citizens is a complete violation of the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act, which substantially limit the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement unless under precise and extreme circumstances.
Section 1385 of the Posse Comitatus Act states, “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”
Under the John Warner Defense Authorization Act, signed by President Bush on October 17, 2006, the law was changed to state, “The President may employ the armed forces to restore public order in any State of the United States the President determines hinders the execution of laws or deprives people of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.”
However, these changes were repealed in their entirety by HR 4986: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, reverting back to the original state of the Insurrection Act of 1807. Despite this repeal, President Bush attached a signing statement saying that he did not feel bound by the repeal. It remains to be seen whether President elect Obama will reverse Bush’s signing statement.
The original text of the Insurrection Act severely limits the power of the President to deploy troops within the United States.
For troops to be deployed, a condition has to exist that, “(1) So hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or (2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws. In any situation covered by clause (1), the State shall be considered to have denied the equal protection of the laws secured by the Constitution.”
Is the incoming Obama administration and Northcom waiting for such a scenario to unfold, an event that completely overwhelms state authorities, before unleashing the might of the U.S. Army against the American people?
The deployment of National Guard troops to aid law enforcement or for disaster relief purposes is legal under the authority of the governor of a state, but using active duty U.S. Army in law enforcement operations inside America absent the conditions described in the Insurrection Act is completely illegal.
The political left and right need to join forces and denounce this plan for what it is - another unconstitutional step towards the incremental implementation of martial law and the militarization of America.

It’s advisable that all read Edwin Vieira’s simple answer to this growing problem; the militia.
Although I don’t see it happening, it is in my opinion the only way left to peacefully exit the present situation.
If anyone doesn’t think the military will fire on them they need to check out some of the tripe that the military has hired/enlisted. Can you say Blackwater. Those will be the first batch used to ‘break in’ the rest.
Don’t worry about buying weapons. With the registration it will be an easy thing to confiscate them.

If you add up all the men and women in the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and even the Boarder Patrol, then add in all the alphabet soup agencies of the Federal government, and then add in all the local police around the entire country, the total won’t even reach three million people. But there are three HUNDRED million civilians in the United States (not counting the twenty million illegals). So we have them out-numbered 100 to1. So even with their star wars ray guns, we could still kick the crap out of them no matter what. Three hundred million double barrolled shot guns means four hundred million rounds. That’s 125 shotgun blasts per soldier even without reloading. They won’t have a chance unless we just roll over and play dead. Thank God the Jews taught us what not to do.

I see your point on this but i don’t think the takeover will come through brute force. These soldiers and personel will only be used to protect the elite and guard the food sources. Once they cut off food supplies you won’t need to conquer them as they will kill each other in the streets after starving for a month. As well no offence but a large number of american citizens are obese making them already perfect cattle, what is a 400lbs guy gonna do, if he can’t get outta bed to load the shotgun what good is it.

If you bring troops home for war… where are they going to go. If you dont send troops to war where are they going to say. So this doesnt look like a big deal other than if your going to have a military then you need a place to keep them, and we all agree that we dont want our people sitting in a base over seas, so what do you want. Maybe the citizens should declare martial law first and set their own troops in place.Instead of waiting to be attacked by Big Brother take away his reasons for being there in the first place. 20,000 troops? Is that all? Considering Northern Ireland, with approximately 1.6 million people in an area the size of Connecticut, has some 20,000 - 30,000 soldiers & armed police during the Troubles, and STILL a few hundred paramilitaries had them stretched, I think Americans shouldn’t be daunted by a mere drop in the bucket like this. That said, they are planning on a gun grab and later, martial law, so arm yourselves because no-one else there will defend you.

Look. I am all for equality between races, between colors. I am just as happy as any black person about the Civil Rights Movement and would have been a party had I lived then. Dear Matthew Scott, The individuals in the military also stay after the killing and breaking (no matter who actually started it) to make sure there is political and economic stability before they leave. I know this because I was one of them stationed in Germany during the Cold War. It was very peacful and friendly during those years and I don’t want anybody ordering anyone to shoot and kill either. The use of the military for policing is an economic decision. If you really knew how broke our cities and counties are you’d easily see why there is no other choice in choosing the military in this type of crisis. But thoughtless hotheads like MAC will get more than himself killed when he suggest fighting with NATO troops. I’ve met those troops and they are people like any of us. Soldiers follow orders, but any action eventually loses zeal after a certain amount of time and sorrow. There are plenty of well intentioned people reading and listening to this website, but thoughtlessly reacting to the fear Alex promotes won’t achieve anything but more sorrow. I know for a fact that the United States is a wonderful place, but we do have a thinking problem. In many ways we are our own worst enemy. Matthew Scott I want you to live. I would dare say that most in the military are United States Citizens first and work for the American people. They are honorable men and women that volunteered to do the things to preserve freedom that we the general public are unwilling or unable to do ourselves. Because of this view, I have to believe that if the order came to end the lives of the American People, there would be those within the military that would be unwilling to fulfill that order. Indeed if that order were to ever come, we could say that tyranny reigns rather than freedom and liberty. While some have a misguided view of a murderous and blood thistry military, and on occasion individuals made incredibly wrong decisions, on the whole, these are people that are American’s first and members of the armed forces second. One final thought, I highly doubt that men and women would seriously slaughter the good citizens of this great land.

I do agree with Knight Hawk, although, there will also be the ones who WILL follow those orders because they’re orders. Why do you think the military has largely lowered their standards of who can get into the military? We now have gang members and degenerates in the military who ARE willing to follow unlawful orders.

I guess I need to read the Constitution myself and find out what provisions it holds for us as citizens to make our voices heard. I feel really retarded every time I read what the government has up its sleeve. Maybe somehow we can start some sort of organization headed by Constitutional law attornies that makes it so that before these new laws go in effect they have to be distributed by U.S. Mail in laymens terms and voted on by the public, or they could even use public announcements. Isn’t that what democracy is? Has the president always had the right to write and change laws like this? If so, what was all that crap we learned in school about the executive branch, the senate, the house of representative and the balance of power. It’s looking like that was a load of crap just like most of everything else I learned in the public school system. Every time I read something like this its on a website devoted to exposing government conspiracies. These are things that general public should know. No one is too stupid or ignorant to understand the truth.

Dear Matthew Scott, If Alex is ultimately right about anything it is the storable food issue. Water filtration is also a very important issue. You need to be self sustainable in a “shelter in place” scenario even if it is just for a couple of weeks. If the supply lines to your grocery store have been cut and desparate people are roaming around, you need to be able to live without having to leave your home. I can’t put any faith in the vision Alex presents as an end of this all. To me this looks much more like an overthrow of an old economy in desparate need of renewal. Most of the things we need to do here in the United States can’t be done because State budgets are totally in the Red. Germany and Japan got their butts kicked, but came back to have dominant civilized economies because they rebuilt factories and infrastructure with modern specifications. We will do the same. It will be a little painful because of the financial shock our current investments must suffer in order to shift to a new economy without having to be carpet bombed. Many will resist because they want smoke pot and can’t wait for the next ipod that they won’t be able to afford. Get excited about being a part of a new economy that can make us less dependent on foreign oil. With that in mind, I present a comparison between society and the human body relationship in a philosophical manner.
The human body should be taken care of. It should be exercised, feed good food & drink, and have a strong immune system to protect it from free radicals.
However free radicals consisting of Viruses, Diseases, Cancers & Poisons can and will create havoc on a human body in the forms of sickness & death.
A society whether it is a small town, large city, state or nation as a whole, has to be kept healthy with strong Infrastructure, employment, morality & protection.
All of those equate to a strong immune system for the society.
However free radicals in the form of Drugs, Gangs, Thugs & Murderers create havoc on a society in the forms of crime & destruction.
The current form of laws and law enforcement is not working. Society’s immune system is failing and loosing the battle against it’s criminal free radicals.
The police have restrictions on what they can do.
The current laws do no truly punish the criminal free radicals that create havoc in our society. We have a revolving door justice system that turns the same serious criminal offender in and out of Incarceration time and time again, in which he/she gets worse until the criminal finally kills someone and gets caught, and then and only then do they usually stay incarcerated.
While the repetitive criminal keeps offending, a new generation of criminals rises in their foot steps and law enforcement has their budgets cut.
We have an ever growing bubble of crime and the enforcement to deal with it is shrinking.
Seeing troops on the patrolling our streets is a good thing.
The troops are American soldiers.
They are trained & equipped with our tax money.
They have mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, wifes, husbands & children just like you do.
Troops like them self’s would will patrolling & protecting their military family & friends in their home towns.
The troops are us. They are our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, wifes, husbands & children
They are not going to do anything bad or different then what their fellow troopers are doing in their home town.
They don’t want harm to come to your family & friends just like they don’t want harm to come to their family & friends.
Why the drugs, gangs, Illegals, murders are here, if government or natural causes, is a concern, however bringing the havoc to and end is more important.
Stand around and blame the doctor for your sickness & giving you bad drugs or welcome a complete cure from the doctor. Hard to choose. Because sitting around hopping your body will cure your self of a life threatening problem is risky.

If you have a small Consciousness while you are viewing the world, you will have a small view of the world.
If you have a small Consciousness while you are watching the news, you will have a small opinion of happenings.
With that in mind, I present a comparison between society and the human body relationship in a philosophical manner.
The human body should be taken care of. It should be exercised, feed good food & drink, and have a strong immune system to protect it from free radicals.
However free radicals consisting of Viruses, Diseases, Cancers & Poisons can and will create havoc on a human body in the forms of sickness & death.
A society whether it is a small town, large city, state or nation as a whole, has to be kept healthy with strong Infrastructure, employment, morality & protection.
All of those equate to a strong immune system for the society.
However free radicals in the form of Drugs, Gangs, Thugs & Murderers create havoc on a society in the forms of crime & destruction.
The current form of laws and law enforcement is not working. Society’s immune system is failing and loosing the battle against it’s criminal free radicals.
The police have restrictions on what they can do.
The current laws do no truly punish the criminal free radicals that create havoc in our society. We have a revolving door justice system that turns the same serious criminal offender in and out of Incarceration time and time again, in which he/she gets worse until the criminal finally kills someone and gets caught, and then and only then do they usually stay incarcerated.
While the repetitive criminal keeps offending, a new generation of criminals rises in their foot steps and law enforcement has their budgets cut.
We have an ever growing bubble of crime and the enforcement to deal with it is shrinking.
Seeing troops on the patrolling our streets is a good thing.
The troops are American soldiers.
They are trained & equipped with our tax money.
They have mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, wifes, husbands & children just like you do.
Troops like them self’s would will patrolling & protecting their military family & friends in their home towns.
The troops are us. They are our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, wifes, husbands & children
They are not going to do anything bad or different then what their fellow troopers are doing in their home town.
They don’t want harm to come to your family & friends just like they don’t want harm to come to their family & friends.
Why the drugs, gangs, Illegals, murders are here, if government or natural causes, is a concern, however bringing the havoc to an end is more important.
Stand around and blame the doctor for your sickness & giving you bad drugs or welcome a complete cure from the doctor. Hard to choose. Because sitting around hopping your body will cure your self of a life threatening problem is risky.
