No oversight. Immunity for the corporations engaged in surveillance. Database sharing — and there’s no telling the accuracy of the information in the databases of the secret security state agencies. Some of these agencies are juggling info on millions and millions of folks. You go to the phone book of a medium sized town and find out there’s seven people with the exact same name. On a national level, there’s 50 with that name. Thus the propensity for one agency to make one small mistake in filing data could lead to the arrest/death of a totally innocent person by a LOCAL PD. And of course local PDs aren’t going to have the integrity to stand up to top-down commands and so-called “intelligence” tips coming out of some distant bureaucracy in some distant city. They won’t exercise sovereignty. And they’ll be rounding up the wrong people, searching the wrong houses, and then suffering the BLOWBACK from it.

The dystopia is NOW. Not tomorrow. Not 10 years down the road. NOW! And it’s not going to lead to a NWO. It’s going to lead to civil wars and revolution and perhaps the collapse of large, centralized gubbermint followed by the rise of localized gubbermint. And when that process is complete, nobody will EVER want to return to living under national gubbermints.
