Watergate informer Deep Throat dies

The man known as Deep Throat in the Watergate scandal in the US has died.

Mark Felt helped newspaper reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward expose the abuse of powers which brought down President Richard Nixon in the 1970s.

Mr Felt remained anonymous for more than three decades, only revealing his identity in 2005. He died at his home in California at the age of 95.

The former FBI second-in-command revealed himself as Deep Throat 30 years after he tipped off the Washington Post journalists.

While some – including Mr Nixon and his aides – always speculated that Mr Felt was the source who linked the White House with the June 1972 break-in at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, he steadfastly denied the accusations until finally coming forward in May 2005.

Critics, including those who went to prison over the Watergate scandal, called him a traitor for betraying the commander in chief. Supporters hailed him as a hero for blowing the whistle on a corrupt administration trying to cover up attempts to sabotage opponents.

US Constitution Is Not Inspired By Divinity

It’s striking that so few truly understand the basis of our Constitution. Arguments that the Constitution is somehow a divinely-inspired document show either a lack of education as to the ideas and principles behind the tenets of the document, or a deliberate attempt to pervert the true intent of the philosophies behind the Constitution. In no way are the Constitution or the Bill of Rights Christian documents. The philosophical underpinnings of each of these documents stem from Locke and Cooke, primarily Locke.

Interesting that some “critics” – called him a traitor for betraying the commander in chief..wow how fucking blind and stupid some people could be to condone that type of criminal behavior from the highest level of office in the USA. I guess blind obedience is one scary red neck philosophy here in the USA.

Watergate was a bloodless palace coup. Nixon, to anyone with a conscience, was largely a right-wing madman. But to the NWO puppetmasters, with his opening relations with communist China, ending the Vietnam War and founding the E.P.A., he was going far too liberal for their tastes. So they arranged for Spiro Agnew to be ousted as vice president over graft (not to excuse it) no different than most all senators and “representatives”. Gerald Ford (Naval intelligence and probably C.I.A. outright) was maneuvered into the VP position. Nixon was sold a bill of goods by his C.I.A. “plumbers” team who probably convinced him that if he would just authorize this burglary that they could discover “evidence” of foreign funding for the Dems or something along those lines, that would ruin the Democratic Party forever. The first break-in, to plant listening devices, succeeded. The second burglary, to retrieve the devices and rummage through the files in the DNC chairman’s office. James McCord sabotaged it though, by putting a piece of tape on the door which the security guard found but discarded and moved on, only to find a second piece of tape on the door when he returned on his rounds later! The only reason to do that is to make sure they get caught. McCord immediately said that it was approved by higher up than he was and got a very light sentence.

Of the Woodward and Bernstein team, not sure about Carl Bernstein but Bob Woodward definitely was in Naval intelligence and is C.I.A. Every step of the way the C.I.A. rigged it up so that it would be a scandal and Nixon would get the blame for authorizing it, which he did. So when the investigation closed in on him, Gerald Ford made a deal with him: You resign and in a month I’ll pardon you. So he did and sure enough, exactly 1 month later Ford pardoned him. The C.I.A. had their man in the White House.

It was the height of the Cold War, Egypt wanted to retake The Sinai from Israel. President Brezhnev warned Nixon not to warn Israel or face the consequences of World War III. Nixon did not tell anything to the Israelis and Egypt retook The Sinai from the Israelis. The Jews in the USA were furious. They hated Nixon. A US naval ship was attacked and sunk by the Israeli airforce. Later Nixon was the target of a malicious plot – Watergate was devised, it was a ploy. The Jews rather have World War III than have its interests harmed.
