‘We face deep depression unless we act soon’ – Obama urges Congress to pass ‘$775bn’ rescue package

Barack Obama has warned America could remain mired in recession for years without bold action in his first speech since being elected.
The President-Elect warned of dire and lasting consequences if Congress doesn’t pump unprecedented dollars into the U.S. economy.
His speech – which doubled up as an urgent pitch for his mammoth spending proposal – said an ‘irresponsible era’ had led to the current crisis but was optimistic it was not to late to change things.

‘In short, a bad situation could become dramatically worse’ if Washington doesn’t go far enough to address the spreading crisis, Obama said as fresh economic reports showed an outlook growing increasingly grim, with less than two weeks to go before he takes office.
Since his November election Obama has deferred to President George W. Bush on foreign policy matters such as the Middle East.

All we hear is how to rescue the Banks, the Auto Industries and the Big Fat guys, but what about the small, marginal, individual citizens, who are the real victims. Do they really think that the Big ones have the only right to survive and all the rest of the small guys must die.
What a joke!
The fact is the Big guys are big because there are small ones. Once the small guys are dead, the big ones will also die.

This sounds familiar… Isn’t this like a repeat of the $700 billion bailout for wall street? Or was it $820 bill? Or was it $8.3 trillion? Hard to keep track these days. I guess if we call it a “stimulus plan” it sounds different and we will be all for it. Where is all of this money coming from? Yea you got it right, absolutely no where. It just appears out of thin air. But if we don’t come up with the funny money, we might be in for marshal law. Obama’s half right, things are going to get dramatically worse, but I don’t think it’s based on any condition. Things ARE worse, and they’re going to get worse. Notice the period at the end of the sentence. Grow food people, get off the grid. Learn to hunt, farm, and defend yourselves. How is it that the soon-to-be president of the United States is still using the word “recession”. Is he that clueless? Or is he just trying to contrast what’s happening now to threaten us into another criminal spending bill? We’re in a depression, Mr. President. Don’t butter us up and then threaten us to gain our support.

Gov’t needs to stop spending money and start cutting it’s expenses.

Obama is asking a hell of a lot from not only the elected officials, but the American People as well. A small tax break is not going to revive the economy; people need to be secure in their homes and lands first, then confidence in the system can take hold again.
Hell, even senators from his own party are balking at the expense, now and for decades to come.

Handing the American people a few dollars every now and then is not going to solve the problem. America needs industry to produce American goods so the working man can be productive. Free trade may sound good to a lot of consumers until there on the unemployment line because there job was exported to China. Bush took a strong American dollar 8 years ago and reduced it to a worthless piece of paper, the affect was the price of oil sky rocketing to a 146. dollars a barrel kicking in inflation making consumer spending at a minimum. Bush’s answer was to print and handover trillions of dollars to the wall street swindlers without any regulations or oversight, in other words it was the transfer of the treasury department to the
banks. You can’t put a band aid on a severed artery.

On November 27th, 2008, Barack Obama was asked the question regarding the vision for change and where the change would be. Obama quickly stated, “I am the change, the change comes from me.” (13) We are made to wonder who this strange one is, and what is his real agenda? With all of this in mind, my attention was jolted by an article featured in the Baltimore Sun newspaper on November 30th, 2008, with the following headline: “Codes for Armageddon: A New President to Hold Nuclear Launch ‘Football.’” The article told of an event which is to take place immediately after the inauguration of Obama, scheduled for January 20th, 2009. George W. Bush, along with a military officer, will accompany Barack Hussein Obama to the White House. In the White House, a small leather-bound metal briefcase known as the “football” will be handed to Obama. Inside the briefcase, according to the article, are “the codes to identify and authenticate a presidential order that could launch nuclear weapons and ignite a global holocaust.” (15) What is awaiting the new commander-in-chief?

If this matter weren’t so serious, one could make a comical skit about it and call it “Bail Out Madness!”
I think the real way to solve the problem is to reduce America’s military commitments around the world. Cut all or most of the “pork” out of legislation. Promote, new and life enhancing technologies like solar and wind power that will bring about good new jobs. And show the world that Washington is FISCALLY responsible thereby encouraging investors to invest more money in America. This would strengthen the dollar and the jobs base.

HA HA HA There are only about 150 Million working Americans what is 53 Trillion divided by 150 Million I bet its enough for every American to pay off their own debt to the banks. Thats what the money should been spent on to pay the banks off the accumulated American debt that would have allowed all Americans to start with a fresh slate but know the government wanted to instead just give the banks cash money.

They will also find away to genetically modify the working class to fully mature within 6 months to a year as in the way dogs do. oh what a joyous day this will be and all because you didn’t act. Knowledge without action is called a failure. You have let down yourself, your family and your country you deserve what is coming!
The world is way over populated! Man has upset the balance of nature, you are like ticks on a dog sucking the very life of our mother Earth! For this you have been condimed to die. Then balance can be restored and the earth can once again flourish with life void of the presence of you leaches.

When will these government lunatics learn that they can’t spend their way out of a debt. Scary thing is they spend all the money on criminals and the good people will be the ones who suffer the most.
