The leaders do not listen to us, anymore than grumpy old men listen to 2 year olds pitching a fit, shut the doors, grab a brandy, and hope the kid shuts up on it’s own. That seems to be the standard way Congress, the Senate, The House, and the White House roll. Like masters, going, they don’t know what’s good for them, so they simply ignore us.

Pretty soon, we will resemble cubas energy policies. An alarm will sound and all lights will turn off at 10pm! add the curfew due to the rioting on the streets of ameriKA!! Yep, in cuba, the lights go out per the government! The only light that will shine is the one with the red hues of Obamas picture in every town sqare and government building and the youth will bow down to his Royal personage!

We have to be patient with those who are waking up and educate them not scare em away! Some of the things we may tell them will elicit emotional responses from them rather than logical one’s and in this we have to be “logical” with facts,support those facts with references and be VERY patient! “Leading” is not an easy task! You have to move mountains one little stone at a time.

Swede1, I wasn’t exactly nice to my nephew when he mentioned 9/11 to me. I knew the government was crooked, but I mistakenly thought they had limits. I was wrong. But, I’ve noticed that almost everyone you talk to today is aware to some degree that there is a lot wrong with our government. I don’t think it will take as much as some think it will in order to get the scales tippied in our favor. All of the legislation our congress is doing is actually in our favor now. Because a lot of people are starting to get really pissed off. I know of many who remain silent, though they are in agreement. But, I don’t believe they will remain that way once the path becomes clear.

Sadly sheeple are not going to do anything, not because they are not going to be affected or angered by the unemployment or foreclosures or crashing dollar…..but because they don’t know how to do something !!!!! They don’t know that they can go out and protest. They think that protests only happen in “European Countries” ….. the only thing they know how to do here is go stand on line for something that’s “free”, or to get a look at a “celebrity” or to be on TV. That’s it !!!

You are wrong on that Maria. We have lots of protests that go on in this country, but they are just not covered by the media. Demonstrations against the war go on all over the country still. There were massive nationwide demonstrations against the Israelis during their attempted genocide of Palestinians. There were demonstrations against school closings in Florida. They are just not known of because the media doesn’t put them on the air. However, I can assure you that once enough people get hungry enough, there will be massive protests and demonstrations that will get very ugly. For the last several years, there have been record numbers of activists who have been forming up to take actions of various kinds, and they have been doing so, but they are not covered in the media. You can see glimpses of them on forums like this, YouTube and many other places on the net. We haven’t forgotten how to protest. We have been entirely too civil about it, in my opinion.

Oh Maria, as evidence, just watch the above video. They represent but a fraction of the protests that are going on every day in this country. We protest on the street. We protest on the internet. We protest to our Congress. We protest to our local officials. We protest through books. We protest in every medium that we have available. So far, these protests have been peaceful, but that will not last for long if the people continue to be ignored. And more, and more people are calling for a violent solution. More and more people are realizing the government does not care about us at all. We are slowing reaching the tipping point. When all of this legislation really starts to hit the people, we will surge well beyond that tipping point. At that time, our cause for justice will be heard, and it will be impossible to ignore or supress or defeat.

LOl, how come I cannot reply to a reply?? Jim, in response to me about “waking up” ad 9/11…I was one of those people who fervently denied our government would have anything to do with this. I was in a world of denial about many things some time ago in regards to our government. It took ALOT of patience to wake me up about many things. Im truly grateful to the patient ones!! instead of telling me to kiss off, they patiently educated me,worked with me without insulting me …too much..lol. I stayed because of those who used their logic with me rather than becoming emotional over my beliefs. Im so grateful for that which is why I say what i say about being patient! …Im not talking about the trolls however who seem to simply want to test your knowledge rather than look at it and disporve you with emotional crud rather than facts.

Maria, you wouldn’t believe how much it takes to get people away from “swerve” tv! people will wake up because when ya remove the ability for them to afford watching it, feeding themselves or even being able to pay the electric bill, they will no doubtly get off their recliners and revolt. It IS sad it takes soo long, but when they have no choice and all of what they believe is the american dream is removed…entitlements, jobs,$$$$, remote controls,ability to afford beer(lol) and pay their bills, they will wake up!

Like a good American, I wrote to both of my senators about crap and trade. I detailed all of the facts… all of the scientists that say it’s BUNK, how Obama himself said it would cause energy prices to skyrocket, how it was passed without being read, how Al Gore owns part of a carbon trading company, how so many good hard working American families can’t make ends meet… I think you get it. I also included a strong statement on H.B. 1207 asking them to support it and how Woodrow Wilson himself said he had unwittingly ruined his country by signing the Federal Reserve act. On both of these subjects I was diplomatic and respectful. I am in Florida and my senators are Bill (the idiot) Nelson and Mel ( I’ve got my head up George Bush’s ass) Martinez.
Their reply was a form letter stating that they were very concerned about the drastic effects global warming would have in the future and that they supported the legislation. NOT EVEN A MENTION OF H.B.1207, NOT ONE WORD!
The future of this country that I love is looking very dim. I am glad I live in the country…

I can just see the nightly news… today we have a sad report… Congressman Ron Paul and most of his Campaign For Liberty were killed in a plane crash today… No word on what caused the crash, the NTSB is investigating….

lol, yeah and the kindergarten blogs (mainstream newsites) keep deleting peoples postings which indicate that MJ’s death is a swerve to what is really goig on in DC..especially cap and trade and 2nd amendment issues such as H.R 45 and H.R 2401. I think it is a long shot to say they off’d him (but it IS certainly convenient!!) and if they did, I guess Ed Mcmahon(sp) didn’t do the trick eh? I like that site too. I have read that humans are really wired with ten strands of DNA instead of two(the double helix) but we are to gain awareness and develop those strands during the ascension process of which is very interesting.
