On September 11, 2001 former NJ governor Christie Todd Whitman was the Environmental Protection Agency Director. The agency issued false statements and declared the air safe to breathe. Here is the former EPA Director’s response to critical questions nearly seven years later.

Why did Whitman do it?
Perhaps they threatened to crush her child’s genitals in front of her if she would not.
Or something a little (but not much) more subtle.

You notice how she tries to say we ought to be going after the terrorists? When a public figure answers in that way, people need to retort, “You mean Bush, Cheney, Israeli Mossad? Our government? THOSE are who are responsible!”
Christine needs to be hung just like all the traitors. 50,000 dying people they could care less about.

Now that’s going to do alot more harm than good. I think Whitman answered the question regarding her statement on the 18th of September pretty well. She said that there were two seperate messages on that day, one that the air was safe in the lower Manhatten area, and one that anyone working on the rubble pile should be using a resperator. So, to continually ask her the same question instead of trying to combat her answer shows a lack of critical thinking, and frankly, comes off as rude and quite nutty.
If we ever get a chance to confront her again, I think it would be prudent to focus on the manipulation of the EPA report by the White House. Did she agree with the changes? Let her explain that!
Also, the fact that EPA reports had to be cleared by the NSC is a pretty change in procedure, I am sure. I would like to know why that procedure was changed. But, to have the same question asked so many times that it becomes ludicrous, is hurting, not helping the cause.

You can armchair quarterback all day, what you don’t know is that this confrontation was completely spontaneous, no one was actually prepared, and most of us had not even heard the prior calls. We did not know about this in advance and were notified on the fly. That does happen, you know. Sometimes truth-squad opportunities present themselves out of nowhere. You just have to try your best, that’s what counts.

I need to refind the article where a cleanup worker suspected the daily tests of toxicity were fake, so he slipped some toxic swill into the test samples when they weren’t watching. The results came back “clean” from those tests, proving they were lying. Anyone got a link to this?

Confront and hold accountable. She is a criminal for the destruction she blatantly gave the permission to occur as she had many chances to admit she was a liar just like the rest of the leaders saying the air is just fine to breathe…

I’m curious as to how accountable the “regular” folks would be for making such a statement and finding it to be completely false. I’m really starting to wonder what has happened to the men of this country. If this affected one of my own, I’d take care of it the old fashioned way. The court system is completely corrupt. The legislative branch (with its 9% approval rating) is worthless.
We’ve tried the voting box. Restoration of this Republic will require the extreme sacrifices made by those who initially gave us this Republic. Not a topic most wish to broach but my guess is it wasn’t a popular topic 236 years ago either.
You have to decide whether you’re comfortable living on your knees or you’d rather die on your feet. Once you’ve made that choice, the next steps become obvious.

It seems she has excellent responses to the ONLY question these people asked. The wearechange guys got owned this time and it really makes them look really bad.
The best question was the one about whether she would support another investigation. Her answer was horrible and guilty sounding. Annyway, they do need to figure out more ways to look at this particular issue and they need to ask about more specific anomalies rather than the general ‘lied about air quality’, because clearly she could get around that easily.

Every day one of the EPA workers would tell us they checked the tubes and it was safe. I knew they were lying. “One day I went around and filled at least 30 of the tubes with asbestos that I found lying around the site. When EPA announced next morning and said it was safe, I caught them lying red-handed and called the official a liar right to his face.”
