WeAreChange Robbed of 3 Cameras and Important Footage

On July 26, 2008 around 4am Eastern Time WeAreCHANGE members Sabrina Rivera and myself Luke Rudkowski noticed our cars front widow was knocked out. The only missing property inside the car was three WeAreCHANGE cameras with important video footage. It is important to note that I myself was receiving harassing phone calls for the past 24 hours prior to the robbery. The Robbery took place right after a public WeAreCHANGE meeting which Sabrina and myself attended. The following cameras have been taken.
The cameras were located on the bottom floor of the back seat in a camera bag covered by a towel no way visible from outside. The windows in the car were tinted and no one from the outside was able to see anything resembling a camera or camera bag.

THOUGH THEY MANAGED TO LEAVE A $4,000 MACBOOK PRO LAPTOP AND $300 GPS SYSTEM
JVC HDD GZ-MG155 – $700
Sony Handycam DCR-HC28 – $300
JVC HDD GZ-HD3 – $850
Along with extended batteries and charges the totally amount of equipment stolen was around $2,000 dollars not including the damages to the car and important video footage yet to be publicly released.
The police have notified us that the person who committed the crime must have watched all of our moves before breaking into the car and stealing the cameras.
The same situation occurred couple weeks ago to our WeAreCHANGE UK chapter when there video cameras, hard drives and original tapes and copies of Elephant In The Room were stolen.

You guys need to leave some treats for the government guys who keep breaking into your cars. Bake some tasty chocolate chip cookies laced with rat poison or with crushed glass. They will bleed to death shortly after they realize they shouldn’t have eaten those cookies you left in your car.

I heard a caller on Friday’s show that was outstanding. He was an ex-intelligence officer who opined that we should bury our weapons (for later retrieval) and for now, fight with cameras and bullhorns. I think he is spot on. We Are Change is living proof of the effectiveness of this strategy. Hopefully, they have multiple cameras at any given event and remove the tapes from them immedialy when they exit. It’s this kind of thing that fully exposes the impact our movement is having.

Gregory Fegel– I know that what happened to Luke and Sabrina and the WeAreChange cameras makes us angry, but we have to be careful not to sink to the level of the adversary, lest we become the same kind of monster.
I totally understand your anger, and I understand what has happened here. My house has been entered.
I considered laying traps, but I would be lowering myself… and because the laying of man-traps is illegal, I would go to prison for some poor black-bagman getting hurt or killed.
I think some places you’re allowed to flood the area with pepper gas as a booby-trap, but I’d probably just set it off on myself.
We’ve got to fight these things in a way that shows we are better than the demons we fight.

Why didn’t you keep the cameras with you at all times, knowing that you are trying to expose the truth about 9/11 and the plan of these thugs, you will, in the future, be required to keep all of your equipment with you at all times. It’s just that simple.

I suggest all WeAreChange org’s to plant a trap since someone is watching you guys. Have someone place a video camera (empty, no footage) in the car, but have someone else secretly video tape (survail) the car and see what happens. This way you’ll catch these bastards in the act and post it all over the Internet.
Your cameras are your weapons, just like the Armed Forces would tell you…”Do not get caught without your weapon”, or else your dead. You have to think like they think or else it’s over.

It’s either one of four departments or all of them working together. F.B.I., Dept. of Home Land Sceurity, Secret Service, or Local police. The next step is to plant evidence in your cars, vehicles, or property. Or worse, a warrant for your arrest is issued, due to planted video tape evidence having to do with child sex crimes or something, that will be manufactured on those stolen tapes. This is how these guys work. You won’t be called terrorists, it will be something that is considered the lowest of the low by society, so that the government controlled media and say, see these guys are nothing but total scum, and we were right all along that they are nothing but a group of deviants. Turning public opinion against you.
I’m telling you We Are Change, to watch your back, hire and attorney as of yesterday, because the set up is coming.

Dumb fucks-Ever thought about taken the so-called important Items with you or putting it in in a safer location especially after the 1st incident????It reminds of the time when I had a commodore 64 stolen on my last day in the service by some brown folks!

I wont resort to name calling. But Papilion is right never let important things leave your sight (no matter what it is).I find it odd that they didnt take the laptop and the GPS because those are worth a pretty penny (but remember both of things can be found and traked down because of the comp’s I.P. address and the GPS is of course a GPS which has a satlink connection). But if i was a thief (a smart thief)i probably would of left them both for those reasons. You never know maybe the ppl who did this were scoping you guys out or saw the equipment when you guys got out of your car or maybe someone whos holding a grudge against you guys did this. Im onli speculating at this point because i wasnt there. BUT NEVER LEAVE ANYHTING LIKE THAT IN YOUR CAR OR IN ANY EASILY ACCESSABLE PLACE AGAIN And the next time you have Important footage a word to the wise MAKE COPIES, ALOT OF COPIES AND DONT LEAVE THEM IN ONE PLACE.

Like most comments here,I myself wouldn’t have divulge the robbery it’s shameful and embarrassing.I know you guys don’t have much money,this is why i’m saving up to buy you a pair of video glasses.I’m serious and i’m sick and tired of hearing about these cameras stories,forget about quality footage,all we need is EVIDENCE(of their stinking lies).You have my e-mail,give me a shout

Wow that really sucks. Sorry to hear that guys. I am surprised though why you would keep that stuff in the car especially after what happened to the other group, not to mention if you had important footage.
Also, I am surprised the cops did not tell you that this is not actually a Robbery, but is really a burglary. A robbery is when actual people are involved during the crime, if they have a weapon it becomes ARMED robbery. Burglary is when no one is involved other than the thieves, and of course them taking your property.
Now granted it may seem like just a technicality of terms but they actually hold different penalties and are in different classes (i.e. A, B, C, felony, misdemeanor etc) in most states.
Robberies are taken much more serious because people are involved as where a burglary only involves property. However, both are horrible just the same. A Mugging is actually a robbery.
Someone breaks into your house and you are NOT there it is a burglary, if you are there (awake or asleep) it is a robbery, also now called a home invasion in most states.
I just thought I would pass this info on because many people think as you all do that when your are burglarized you are robbed only to later find the cops do not take it very seriously and that is because in their eyes they are two totally different things.
Burglers are usually cowards and not as dangerous and robbers are usually violent and dangerous and armed robbers the most violent dangerous.
Now my guess as to what may be tking place with you guys and the other wearechange groups is something more sinister.
I think you all are being targeted and intimidated. Because they have not been able to shut you up or stop your activites and because your numbers are so large and growing, they cannot kill you all off, so now they are trying to SCARE you off and hurt you finacially by stealing your equiptment, causing damage etc.
You all need to spread the word to be MUCH more cautious about where you leave your cameras etc. While they may be using some looney tune to do the crimes, I think people MUCH BIGGER are behind what is starting to happen.
You all need to put a BOLO out, a cop term for BE ON THE LOOK OUT.

a lot of harsh comments regarding the safety of the equipment.
They did every thing possible given the situation. It is also very suspicious they only targeted ceratin items and left the expensive equipment.
DOnt let this set back lead you from the task yopu have been doing trielessly for the years now. because if you dont do it most of these bloggers wont.

Hey!
Time to buy good quality spy cameras to back up all your exposures, and most of all, when important shots do not let it out of your sight until uploaded on internet.
When WEARECHANGE and Freedom lovers numbers swell sadly their usual bullying tactics will also.
Be ready to loose a lot of cameras!
You guys have a lot of guts to come up to those elite guys and ask them important , ignored by the media questions.

Obviously “the Perps” felt you had something on those tapes they did not want seen. Coincidence I think not!! There are alot of people who are out there that don’t like what you stand for and want to see you stopped, i however am not one of them, I love everything you do and everything you stand for.
