There are only a handful of people who predicted this financial crisis, or at least its severity.
What are they predicting now?
Peter Schiff and Ron Paul
Schiff, the manager of over $1 billion dollars in investments, says the U.S. will enter a long period which could be worse than the Great Depression.
Schiff also thinks that the economic crisis might lead to martial law.
He thinks that Asia and Europe, after a period of economic downturn, will “decouple” from the U.S., eventually enjoying great prosperity long before the U.S. recovers.
Schiff has admitted that he did not foresee the current rally in the dollar, and his investors – long in Asian and European stocks – are way down.
Schiff was Ron Paul’s chief economic advisor during his campaign. Paul has himself predicted the crisis for many years, and has warned that America is spending more than it can afford. Paul has also repeatedly warned of martial law.
Nouriel Roubini
Roubini, the PhD economist, thinks we are going to have what he calls “stag-deflation”, meaning severe stagnation and deflation. Basically, he thinks that we’re heading into a depression without extreme government action.

He’s also warning of possible food riots.
Marc Faber
PhD economist Faber, who called both the 1987 crash and the current crisis, believes that there will be a bear rally for a couple of months, and then a further crash.
He is convinced the U.S. will go bankrupt sooner or later.
Faber also thinks that the crisis may spell and end for the traditional American form of government, to be replaced by martial law or some other unsavory form of government.
Nassim Nicholas Taleb
Economist, highly-regarded investment advisor, and one of the world’s foremost authorities on derivatives Nassim Nicholas Taleb, thinks that “capitalism I” is over, and things will get very bad before we get to a new form of “capitalism II”, where banks will act like utilities instead of money-making pirates.
Taleb has warned that supermarkets may shut down. While he wouldn’t directly tell Charlie Rose how bad he thinks things will get, he did say he thinks things will be worse than Roubini is predicting.
Antal E. Fekete and Darryl Schoon
Professor Emeritus of Mathematics Antal E. Fekete and author Darryl Schoon think that our entire modern society will crash and break down (gold bugs, they believe all assets will crater except gold).
Afterword: The Greatest Depression
As an afterword, it should be pointed out that – while it was really bad – the Great Depression was not the greatest crash in history. Indeed, one writer describes the Great Depression as “a mild and brief episode, compared to the bank crash of the 1340’s . . . .”
That’s a stunning piece of information: the Great Depression was nothing compared to the crash in Venice in 1340.
How can anything have been that much worse than the Great Depression?
Well, the 1340 crash ushered in the dark ages.
Now I don’t think anything nearly that bad is coming. But discussions about whether we are going to experience something as horrible as America’s Great Depression should not be taken in a vacuum. Unless our government stops messing things up and making them worse, things could get quite ugly.
Note: I apologize to the others who predicted the crash whose names were not included in the above list, like Shostak, Calente and others. I tried to keep the list short. I appreciate your efforts in sounding the alarm and applaud your ongoing efforts to educate the public.

William Engdahl (who also predicted this mess – see his magnificent Financial Tsunami series) recently predicted that one of the first things Obama will have to do is declare a Bank Holiday and then nationalise the entire US banking system. I think this is a sound prediction. It’s interesting that Calente is predicting a run on the banks. Under these circumstances a bank holiday would be the Messiah of Hope & Change’s only option.
While I’m on the subject of predictions let’s not forget Colin Powell’s suspiciously specific statement “Obama will be tested 21st/22nd Jan” and Biden’s guarantee of a real or manufactured event within 6 months to test Obama.

In this article it sounds like only one guy put his OPM where his mouth is, and he is way down. These prognosticators are a dime-a-dozen and I’ll bet they put their own money going the other way.

There will be deflation before the hyperinflation hits. Ron Paul has been a broken record on this, and for a very good reason, because the way our monetary system works, the crash is inevitable. Besides gold, oil is still a good investment because other nations who will not crash as bad as the US will still buy it, such as China, Japan, etc. WWII is what led the U.S. out of the Great Depression, not the New Deal, so we can expect another military campaign, probably into Asia. This will keep the herd instinct strong while keeping the population distracted and hopeless.
There seems to be a pattern here: When the experts say it’s “really bad,” it’s really really bad, and when they say it’s “really really bad” it’s a disaster.
Man, I wish I was older and had the money to leave this country, I would in a second. This is no longer the United States of America. The U.S. died with the 8 trillion dollar give-away to foreign banks.
My big question is this: Are the people of this country too socially isolated, distracted, and misinformed to do what previous generations would do, that is, stand up to the tyrannical government as a unified people?

What makes you think they won’t find you in the hills, Cameron? They’ve got every square inch of this planet mapped. They know where every corn patch is. Btw have you heard what the scared country bumpkins are saying about the collapse. Upon receiving news of economic collapse and refugee movements away from the cities, they may indescriminately shoot what they consider “city folks” because, according to their logic, everyone who has ever resided in a metropolitan area is a minion of Satan. I’m a little confused about the comment that the dark ages began in 1340 when the banks of venice collapsed. It was my understanding that the dark ages lasted for more than a century (the renaissance was already in its nascent stages in 1340 and flourished in the next century). The dark ages began when the Byzantine Empire began to decline, helped in part by the rise of the plague, and the barbarian tribes of northwestern Europe finally shook off the last remnants of the Western Roman Empire. The term “Dark Ages” was actually coined by Petrarch in the 1330s, a decade before the alleged beginning of the dark ages when the Venice Banks collapsed. I know that there are many that want to stress the urgency of our current crisis by using scary words and phrases like “depression” and “total collapse” (and for good reason) but let us hope that we are not all so stupid to believe what anyone with a PhD in front of their name says when they apparently do not have a grade school level understanding of European history.

I’ve been reading most of those writers for years, including Mike Ruppert as Desert Rat George Hayduke mentions below.
Personally, I’m not sure what to expect in the coming months and years. In some ways I would like to think people in America are smart enough to get through these times and find a way to take the power and wealth from the bastards who are orchestrating this mess. However, I have seen enough outright greed and stupidity to have little faith in most of my fellow Americans, hence my “Idiocracy” screen name.
All I can say is remain rational folks when needed, but have that emotionally-charged adrenaline rush ready when absolutely needed. Good luck to all and stay cool and thinking.

For the last three days I have not seen one chemtrail in my area. Total blue skies for the first time in ages and not one chemtrail. I don’t know how long it will last but my question is to the people who think that these chemtrails are just contrails. Have the planes just stopped flying over the skies in my area? Is that why I am seeing blue skies for the first time in a very long time or is it just that there is no cloud cover? lol

Lyndon Larouche has predicted this as well, and has hit the nail on the head w/ the sub prime crisis, being the illusion of an isolated event as opposed to the whole system, which is bringing on the derivatives bubble which represents more money in outstanding debts, than there is money in the entire world to pay for them. So any bailout, any other thing than an effective bankruptcy reorganization is a fraud, and death sentence handed down from the government against its own people in some cases.
He’s been saying it for years too… especially after Bretton Woods was broken up, and the dollar was thus a floating exchange rate system, as opposed to being fixed. But everyone wrote him off as a quack for years.

Back in 2000 when the Tennessee legislature was trying to shove an income tax down the citizen’s throats, I made it a point to stir up some shit about the CAFR, or Consolidated Annual Financial Report. It, at that time, indicated that while the state house and senate were whining like the little bitches that they are about running out of revenue blah blah blah, the CAFR clearly indicated a 24 billion (with a B) surplus in investments and cash. That’s just Tennessee and that was eight years ago. I sent a letter to the editor of the Tennessean (Nashville paper) and dared them to print it, which to my surprise, they did. The following Monday I found myself under surveillance from black Crown Victorias following me around from the time I left for work and then on the return trip home. It tripped someone’s trigger.
One can only surmise that it must have been an accurate accounting of the TN CAFR and they didn’t want anyone to know about it. I urge everyone to obtain a copy of their respective CAFR for their state, city or county (they all have to produce one) and it doesn’t cost you anything for requesting one. These MFs are flush in cash and investments. I don’t give a shit WHAT they tell you. And you don’t have to be a accountant to understand the contents. Check it out.

There is nothing basically wrong with the Bible, except what humans have done to it. It fully and correctly explains the NON-HUMAN involvement. They are the original owners of planet Earth and are simply NON-HUMAN. Many have described them and the belief of humans in them is not a requirement. We are not religious in suggesting anything. To all of you naysayers regarding Jesus Christ! I knew about the NWO, Illuminati, Bilderbergers, etal before most of you were ever born. I began reading the Bible some years after I was well educated into the elitist’s plans. I was always an excellent history and geography student in school. When I heard of what the Bible had to say prophetically regarding the “last days” I decided to get into the prophetic studies. It is quite apparent that anyone that can ridicule Christianity and believe in the NWO, etc. does not have the ability to interpret Scripture. I have told people over 35 years ago what nations to watch for that would align. The times are pretty close. I suggest you doubters find a learned eschatologist and listen to what he has to say before it is too late. You will spend an eternity somewhere and if is not “in Christ” there is only one place else, with the god of the Illuminists-Satan. The Book of Daniel and Revelation parallel. Read Joel, Ezekiel ch. 38 and 39. The Old Testament and the New fit together like a hand in a glove to one who has understanding. You cannot blame all of
the Jews for the evil Satanists in control. Many worshipped Baal but most assuredly Jesus did
not! God will save a remnant of the Jews who will be forced to go through the tribulation period. You cannot blame all Americans as evil because we have evil Americans in power. I have been fighting against these evil forces longer than most of you have breathed. This understanding only comes from experience, travel, connections, but most importantly spending time studying what the Scripture has to say. It parallels perfectly with the times if you know how to study. Many years ago, when my daughter was in high school, she would approach me and ask for help doing her Algebra homework. She had a very difficult time grasping the concepts and I had an equally difficult time comprehending why she could not complete the assignments after I guided her through working out the problems. I finally figured out that her problem was she did not take the time to study and memorize the rules. To one that has an understanding of Algebra, that one knows that there are eight basic rules which are used in different ways. Learn those rules and you will master the task. It is no different with the Word of God. When you understand the rules and want to know, He will share His Light and open the mirror of your mind so as it all becomes quite clear. “Knowing this first, that there shall come first in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? Not many can take us seriously and we have not really asked for it. The topic is predictions of some who have predicted already. We have done this and we say a prediction is just prior knowledge so. We say this an ancient NON-Human agenda is no longer being hidden, but is now freely accessible to any who look and can look. We say this as prod for those who are willing to at least contemplate this or have knowledge of it on their own. We make no sense to you and really can not help you. We only make sense to some and it is to them we speak. The time left is to 2023 with a culmination of around 2068. 2009 will not be as bad as is said so that you will not expect the intervention to come soon after. The forgiving of all personal debt will come in 2010-2011. New monetary system 2012 or so. most all Humans will become allegiant to a new paradigm soon after. We place this for those who can understand it. Others just ignore it and enjoy the ride. Those who know will take some or all seriously and for others it will not matter. Remember our protection is and always has been disbelief so why should we change it now. Our Duty is to a very few and yet any can be one of these. It is up to you.

People can believe as they so wish. And hopefully because this is still America, others
who disagree with them will do so with courtesy.
As for the Biblical prophecies… There are people here and now on this earth in high
positions who would like to microchip humanity. Not the way to go. Such ideas align
themselves with Biblical prophecy in Revelations 13. The increase of wars and rumors
of wars, natural disasters in the last 20 years would also seem to indicate that Jesus’
words for the last days featured in the 3 synoptic Gospels are also being fulfilled. It’s a
hard world.
Many speculate on the specifics as to how these things will unfold and reach their
conclusion. Perhaps most of the details are not available to us. What is prophesied is
that Jesus will return to bring true justice and peace to the Planet. Until then, it appears
we’re in for a tough ride.
In the end, people have to decide for themselves what to believe and what not to
believe.

Anyone who has studied the bible knows that some catastrophy is predicted that dwarfs anything in history. You struck a chord with the motive for the globalists destroying their money tree, the American economy. The burning of the earth on one side(bible) sounds like a sun flare. The raining of fire sounds like a meteor, valcanoes or atomic warfare or a combination. I also consider the passing of a planet that is on an eliptical orbit and it fits into the god legends. There’s no evidence to support the Nibiru theory but it does fit with the whole 2012 debacle. I think our undoing will most likely be our own as history has shown us time and time again. Though, I do believe events like the whole Nibiru thing occur and are important we research them because who knows, it might happen.
We have have the most people ever on this planet (that we know of) and written human history is shotty at best. Seems to me, we should have gotten our act together long ago.
