  • Why Brown thinks we should all be happy that fuel costs are sky-high

    UK Daily Mail
    Wednesday, July 9, 2008

Gordon Brown wants to see petrol-driven cars off the roads within 12 years as evidence that Britain can break its addiction to oil.

The Prime Minister, hailing a climate change agreement by world leaders at the G8 summit in Japan yesterday, insisted all new vehicles could be powered by electric or hybrid engines by 2020.

The driving force to achieve that goal, he suggested, would be fuel costs and road taxes.

But the argument that soaring oil prices could benefit drivers in the long term appeared a high-risk strategy at a time when motorists are suffering like never before.

Mr Brown also risked further alienating drivers with a robust defence of higher road tax charges for vehicles with higher emissions – and zero rates for cleaner cars.

That will be seen as a signal that Labour plans for more vehicle excise duty rises on larger cars – thought to have been dumped – are still on the Government’s agenda.

Mr Brown added that he would like to see petrol prices drop to ‘a reasonable level’, but the AA warned his comments could bring a backlash from drivers.

‘Motorists are already suffering from very high prices. This just piles on the pain,’ said spokesman Paul Watters.

How would the govt. survive without fuel and road taxes? They would claim a fiscal crisis is brewing, so they would tax you for something else. Tax the number of molecules I breathe in, man what a haul!!!

It is impossible to read this govt spin without an episode of projectile vomitting. How can anyone with an IQ of more than two digits acquiesce to this sort of rubbish. Motorists are the traditional ‘tax fodder’ for the system. More bellicose methods of imposing guilt are pressed upon the motorist in order for them to accept the crime of owning a motor vehicle, and the accepted penence usually suggested by paying ever higher fuel costs, road tax and the other nice little earners for the govt coffers. Does the planet really benefit from all of this? Look at who directly benefits instead.

Remember the “good ol’ days” when gas was $3/gallon?
Back then it was tough but at least most of us could manage.
Well, if you are paying $4.50 and if you could increase your gas mileage by 1/3rd then at least you would be back where you were when gas was $3/gallon right?
Many people are getting 1/3rd better gas mileage using Water4Gas.
Other benefits include a more powerful, smoother, cleaner and cooler running engine and also
you end up with water for emissions for the most part. We have evidence of smog tests where carbon emissions were reduced to zero!
It’s ok to be informed about what is going on in the world. One must be. But if that information is only resulting in fear and stultification then that is not a benefit.
Useful information is one that you can use to make conditions better.
      Water4Gas is useful information.

you can run your car on just plain old water for free!
no car company or government is going to pioneer this technology as they are in the pockets of oil companies. Instead they want us to use hydrodgen fuel cell technology which is very expensive and very difficult to store the hydrodgen. (hydrodgen molecules are so small that they leak through all known substances within a week) HHO is hydrodgen and oxygen that is created from electrifying water on demand and it can be used in your combustion engine, so no need to storage and it’s 100% free to produce for about $500. Companies that have managed to do this are being heavily supressed and threatened by “dark forces”. So, do it but do it secretively until the world wakes up.

anyhow i live to far from work and theres no transport so i’ll lose my job then i can claim the dole and have my rent paid. beats working just to pay my fuel!!

    8. Chris Bovey Says:

I can assure you that Gordon Brown does not want this at all, as the British Government is so reliant on the revenue it receives from the North Sea oil reserves and from the highest taxation at the petrol pump in the world.

Gordon Brown is a New World Order puppet that does as he’s told. He is the muppet who sold much of Britain’s gold reserves when gold was at rock bottom prices, no doubt because somebody from the New World Order told him to.
