Why Would “Terrorists” Want To Decapitate Anti-US Leadership In Pakistan?
Hotel bombing doesn’t make sense unless “Al-Qaeda” is working to advance Neo-Con political agenda

Why would “Al-Qaeda,” a group that is supposedly the prime target of the U.S. initiated war on terror, commit a terrorist attack against a country that has recently changed its government and all but renounced its role as a U.S. ally in the war on terror?
The mass media has already blamed the Marriott Hotel bombing, which killed at least 53 people, on “Al-Qaeda,” a routine reflex action despite the lack of any real investigation and no claim of responsibility.
On Saturday morning, Newly elected Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari told his parliament, “We will not tolerate the violation of our sovereignty and territorial integrity by any power in the name of combating terrorism.”
Hours later and hey presto! “Al-Qaeda” provides the perfect pretext for the U.S. to violate Pakistan’s territorial integrity in the name of….you guessed it….combating terrorism!

More telling than that - had the leadership of Pakistan not cancelled their plans to dine at the Marriott Hotel at the last minute, the entire command structure of the whole country would have been decapitated.
“Pakistan’s top leaders were to dine at the Marriott hotel that was devastated by a truck bombing over the weekend, but changed the venue at the last minute, a senior government official said Monday,” reports the Associated Press today.
“Perhaps the terrorists knew that the Marriott was the venue of the dinner for all the leadership where the president, prime minister, speaker and all entire leadership would be present,” Interior Ministry chief Rehman Malik told reporters. “At the eleventh hour, the president and prime minister decided that the venue would be the prime minister’s house. It saved the entire leadership.”
Indeed, it seemed the “terrorists” did know that their prime objective was to completely wipe out the most influential players in a government that has seemingly vowed to break away from the years of Pervez Musharraf-mandated lapdog subservience to U.S. imperial whims.

The timing of this weekend’s bombing coincides with a build-up in tensions over the past month not between Pakistan and “Al-Qaeda,” but between Pakistan and the United States government.
Relations between Pakistan and the U.S. soured dramatically following a raid by U.S. commandos on the border town of South Waziristan earlier this month which killed 20 people, including women and children.
Pakistani troops fired on U.S. helicopters that had violated the country’s border a week ago and a repeat of the incident in the village of Angor Adda occurred again last night.
On September 13th, Pakistan’s army chief Gen. Ashfaq Kayani vowed to safeguard the country’s territorial integrity against U.S. incursions and warned of a possible direct confrontation with U.S. forces if the incursions continue.
In light of all this, does it make much sense that “Al-Qaeda” suddenly popped up and helped out its arch enemy the U.S., by attempting to wipe out the Pakistani leadership?
It only makes sense if “Al-Qaeda,” or whoever carried out the bombing, was working to further the geopolitical agenda of the Neo-Cons in control of the White House.
“After several weeks of international bad press because of drone planes being piloted by 19 year olds with joy-sticks in California, blowing up families in Pakistan willy-nilly, after all that, the “terrorists” in Pakistan decide to blow up a second rate hotel there, killing civilians, and making them the bad guys once again? How’s that for the worst timing ever, huh? Well, the worst timing for them and the best possible timing for those troubled U.S. Military PR guys and all the politicians who had been saying just a month ago we need to step up military action in Pakistan, ” writes Scott Creighton.
“The end result of this attack is to give the U.S. Army and the American politicians all the reason in the world that they would need to continue attacking Pakistan’s population, and taking the international pressure off the Americans to stop bombing their country.”
The playbook that the CIA has employed over and over again in places like Central America, Italy, Cuba, South America and the Middle East for decades to destabilize and overthrow governments is a tried and tested formula.
A strategically located country with a newly elected, populist government, vowing not to sacrifice the interests of its people for the U.S. imperial agenda, is almost immediately attacked by unknown “terrorists,” creating fear, chaos, and a demand from the population for “protection” that cannot be provided by the weakened ruling party, creating a power vacuum and an opportunity for the mighty U.S. war machine to step back into the fold, promising to chase away the evil deadly terrorists.

It’s Pakistan’s job to retaliate just as it was when 9/11 happened and the US retaliated. Give it some time and you’ll see you’re wrong yet again. But of course when you are you will twist the story to another direction.
Maybe Al-Qaeda bombed Pakistan because the government doesn’t want terrorists from Afghanistan coming over its border and training in the mountains.

Both the main gates (the entrance and the exit) of the hotel were closed while no one except the US Marines were either allowed to go near the truck or get the steel boxes unloaded or shift them inside the hotel. I don’t exactly think this was done by Al-qaeda terrorsts. There have been reports coming out that there were 37 metal cases delivered to the Marriott by the CIA on the 4th and 5th floors and under heavy guard by US Marines. These metal cases were brought in to the hotel and not allowed to be scanned by the hotels scanners. It is also being said that these 37 cases were actually suitcase nukes to be delivered from the CIA to Al-Qaeda for use against the West for creating false flag terrorism to increase world support to fight terrorists. It is possible that someone wanted to try and stop the delivery of the nukes. When the dust and smoke clears I’m sure more evidence will come out.

I knew this was CIA as soon as I heard the news following the recent sabre rattling and then the US troops and two helicopters that the pakistani army fired upon last week for attempting to cross their border again. But have you seen the CCTV footage yet? It claims to be the initial explosion there are people just feet away from the truck, and none of them are hurt by the little flash.

have a look, you see a little flash from the truck (which doesn’t vaporise) then the camera cuts and we’re looking at a huge crater and a destroyed hotel. If the camera had the initial explosion, it must have had the one that caused the crater right? so where is that footage?

Thank you for a balanced analysis.To Pakistanis there are two types of Talibans/Qaida. Allied forces are only killing those wo are fighing them in Afghanistan. They support those who are fighting the Pakistani State and killing her security forces, innocent worshipper and shoppers. They also believe that the USA can arouse hostility from India on the eastern front, or it can buy out few corrupt politicians and media men in Pakistan. But a nuclear equipped, dedicated, war ready army has for the first time the full support of one hundred and sixty million people of Pakistan. Last time, a superpower meddled in Afghanistan and Pakistan, disintegrated. Do we see the beginning of an end of another superpower? This time both China and Russia see their encirclement which makes this scenario even more urgent.

Indeed it was a sad day for all Pakistanis. But the world media is influenced by the politics and no one will never know the whole truth. When Pakistani army and gov. were not killing the so called Pakistani talibans, America was silent and appreciating Pakistani efforts. But as soon as Pakistani gov. and Army found out that there are two kinds of talibans, the one fighting against the NATO and US and the other one who are fighting against Pakistan and bombing Pakistanis and killing thousands of innocents, US turned against Pakistan, their drones were bombing Pakistani villages without prior permission and killing many innocent women and children. It is quiet evident that the Pakistani taliban are CIA and Indian sponsored and all the plans are created in the palace of the puppet president of Afghanistan, Mr. Karzai.
India and America along with Afghanistan are trying to destabilize Pakistan. It is time for all the civil society of the world that they should help Pakistan and stop Bush from taking hundred and thousands of more innocent lives as he has already ruined Iraq and Afghanistan in the search of WMD. Excuse me, but can anyone explain how a truck bomb of ANY size can leave a crater 9 METERS deep? Aerial bombs leave craters because they burrow into the ground before detonating. The pressure from explosions seeks the path of least resistance to expand into. This is like the Bali bombing all over again.

It was a very smart analysis and right on target. Unfortunately, the “corporate-controlled media” does not do much investigative journalism anymore. It’s too expensive to do REAL work, I suppose (what, with all the lay-offs of journalists to save money). But even the smallest use of one’s brain power could lead one to see the falicies in arguing that this recent (and tragic) bombing of the Marriott Hotel in Pakistan was Al Qaeda. Funny, it was Al Qeada within hours of the 9/11/01 “attacks” too.
From the replies, it is obvious that the readers are an intelligent bunch of people. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for most Americans who believe most of the b.s. in the American media. Let’s hope Pakistan can survive with their new leadership and resist the oppression that was so well explained in Naomi Klein’s recent book: “The Shock Doctrine, the Rise of Disaster Capitalism.” It is in this book that she describes how terror is one way for the neocons (and profit hungry multi-national corporations), seek to maximize their profits through various crises. Terror is just one of these. As long as people (like millions in South America), come to expect such treatment, they can resist. Let’s hope the Pakistani people know what is going on, resist appropriately and remain the sovereign nation they want to be.

No one is denying that there are terrorists in this world IUKE from Poland. no one is denying that there are Islamic Fundamentalists who are crazy as shit and want to kill everyone who doesn’t follow the Khoran to it’s literal meaning. But that doesn’t mean that what happened on 9-11 was carried out by these Islamicists all on their own. There is now way in HELL that they carried out such a massively organized and politically convenient attack on the WTC all the way from their sand and rock cave homes in Afghanistan! The new Pakistani government is NOT anti-US. I don’t know how you worked this out. Yes, Nawaz Sharif, members of his party and others were very vocal about Musharraf’s allegiance with the US, however, Zardari and the PPP which won the most seats rode to victory on post Bhutto-assassination sentiment across the country.
Zardari - aka Mr 10 percent - is neither anti-US nor pro-terrorism. His only allegiance is with his wallet and as one of the most corrupt people in Pakistan, is only looking to bolster his bank account as the country falls to pieces around him.
This is another example of outsiders having very little clue about the political situation in Pakistan. Only very few people understand how democracy is practically functioning in Pakistan and yet people comment like they teach the subject in uni or something
