Willie Nelson In Talks To Hold Concert For 9/11 Truth
Plans being drawn up to emulate Woodstock for a new generation

In an exclusive interview today on the nationally syndicated Alex Jones show, iconic musician Willie Nelson volunteered to take part in a concert for 9/11 truth and as part of a campaign to stave off an attack on Iran.
The country music superstar told listeners that some form of musical event to help generate media attention would be a great idea if it could be organized successfully.
In response to a caller’s suggestion to perform at a concert in aid of 9/11 first responders and their families, as well as to raise the profile of the 9/11 truth movement, Nelson responded:
“I would agree to both of those things in a minute.”
“I think people want to find a way to speak out and let their emotions be heard, and that’s what you and I need to do, we’ll find a hall or a field somewhere and we’ll go over there and do what we can do.” The former Highwayman said.
“I love music and I love crowds, but there’s also something gratifying about saying what you believe.” he continued.
The possible event has already been dubbed “Truthstock” by some, after the legendary Woodstock festival in 1969. That concert exemplified the counterculture of the late 1960s, taking place at a time of intense protest of American involvement in the war with Vietnam.
Nelson also spoke in length about Congressman Dennis Kucinich’s brave effort to have George W. Bush impeached for war crimes, the trashing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and a litany of other abuses and high crimes.
“I’m concerned for Dennis (Kucinich) or anyone else who speaks out against this administration because these guys are serious, people love their power and they hate to give it up, their money and their power is all they have and if they lose that they feel that they’ve lost their divinity.” Nelson commented.
“I think Dennis has got to keep pounding on the door with impeachment, I think that’s the key to stopping anything really horrible coming up between now and September/October.” he continued.

Nelson also voiced his concern over the Bush administration drive to attack Iran:
“We’re so close to a war with Iran and anything this guy does between now and election day could spark it. I think an impeachment hearing between now and then might slow the guy down, it might get the attention of the world and us on trying to stop a guy who is really intent on starting a war.”
Willie Nelson made headlines last February when he forcefully voiced his doubts about the official 9/11 story and exclusively told the Alex Jones show that he thought the twin towers were imploded like condemned Las Vegas casino buildings.
Nelson’s country music contemporaries The Dixie Chicks were savaged by the establishment when they criticized the Bush administration during shows shortly before the invasion of Iraq. More recently a reformed Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young encountered strong reactions when they took to the road in 2006 in a series of protest concerts.
If the proposed event goes ahead It will be extremely interesting to see how it plays with the corporate media, which has thus far, in the majority, restrained from reporting on Nelson’s statements and support for the 9/11 truth movement.

Hey i’ve been thinking of this idea for a long time like many others.. a music event would be a great way to come together,force the media to pay attention and have some fun raising money for first responders,victims families etc ,,i just wish that i could perform my songs along with everyone else,never theless i will be spreading my views,facts,and truth dvd’s out at our shows as long as im able to do so,,i feel thats why i was giving musical talent,, you can use it for good or evil,and i hope more prominent stars decide to use their celebrity for the better of humanity in the comming years.if i can get to a national level someday i surely will..willie nelson,ventura, the sheens, odonall,russo,alex,on and on its great to see personl beliefs put aside for the facts ,,i.e truth

Truthstock, what a great idea! We all need to come together against the evil which has taken over our government. Federal, state and local governments need to held accountable to their oaths of office. The constitution is only a force when the people enforce it.
The constitution is an employment contract between the people and the government. We are the masters and the government is the servant. Hence a servant government. Through incremental small steps the people have been fooled. They are now a 14th amendment citizens. A person defined in law, created by the federal government. They control that which they create.
The people need to return to a man created by God, and all the rights given to him by God and protected by the constitution.
The barbarians are inside the gates, so we need to have a truth awakening and what better person to spearhead this, than Willy Nelson. WOW! Lets all do it and help spread the truth, as Johnny Truth Seeds. Then put the enemies of the constitution on trial and hang them after guilt has been proven!!!

Sounds like a Great Idea. Perhaps Alex Jones can figuire out a way to ad some more musicians to the mix. It seems like Willie isnt the only artist who wants to support truth… Make it a festival that cannot be ignored by the media! Truthstock … Concert for Truth. Here are some artists that I happen to know have been approached in the past with this idea. (I don’t mean I know them personally.) I would say that “they are on the fence”. I think that Willie could push them over the top: Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Graham Nash (think Jackson Browne and Friends “No Nukes” concert in the 80’s), Sting, Michelle Phillips (and possibly) Bob Dylan. Throw in some rappers for good measure, Eminem, Mos Def, Immortal Technique and bring them all on stage for an extended encore of John Lennon’s “Gimme Some Truth”. Ask Yoko to approve some additional lyrics and everyone can sing a line. The angels in heaven will be singing too! Get Rosie to MC. I hope this happens in LA, but I wouldn’t want to miss it.

I am no fan of the President but my goodness, Willie Nelson, who once was so cool and just sang his songs and did his thing has become a little loopy in his old age. As an American, he is entitled to his opinion but WOW, what an opinion it is. None of it is based in sanity, reality or truth. Sounds like old Willie’s been sipping too many Margaritas with Rosie O’Donnell. To actually believe that the World Trade Center was imploded like those old casinos in Vegas and have no proof or evidence of any kind to back it up just means the old coot has a deep-seated hatred of Bush or they got some pesticide on some of that weed he’s always smoking. While I will wholeheartedly support this event and its message of truth; unfortunately once again it would probably receive very little to no coverage from the mainstream media (MSM), since they are in collusion with the criminal plutocracy running our country.
Just like the recent Ron Paul saturday in DC, to which thousands of people showed up, but it received NO MSM coverage whatsoever – this event will be the same. It will only be covered on the internet, so for the millions of Americans who get their news feed only from the MSM (print & TV), they will get no information about this event either.

His serious remark,” because of 911″. When asked how many planes and WTc bldgs went down,he said only 2 planes-2 WTC.I told him 3 WTC went down—he then put his hand on his revolver. I have SO much respect for Willie doing this… as well as the others in the Truth movement. Even here in the UK I get treated as a freak by most people when I say 9/11 was an inside job.
People here where I work are so lazy they can’t be bothered to look up the information themselves as they say it doesn’t directly affect them….. um like HELLO how short sighted can the mass be?.

The obvious question is where are all the current ’stars’?
Why are we leaving it to the Woodstock generation to speak for all of us? Where are all the rebels and political agitators? And I’m not talking about people more concerned with image over content ie changing to a style that sells for image sake. We need the brave to stand up and be counted for what they believe in. Has the true protest movement been subjugated by drugs, booze, fluoride and record contracts? Sure they all write songs with words like ‘generation’ and ’society’ etc but where are all the true 9/11 unbelievers?

I fear for my children and as the reports have shown the government has been corrupt for a long time. The biggest message(and it’s one I feel very deeply) that the word needs to be spread in short order. For many years there has been a sense of divide an conquer, and the “Sheeple” as I have heard mention took too long to awake. Perhaps it is better to say that they have felt isolated and untrusting, and in essence felt helpless to do anything but hope that the fears were not true.
I have no doubt that they are and a new world order is the plan. We have been slowly losing our rights as human beings for a long time, while the corrupt elitists have been patient with their plan. We have been living in an age where we no longer trust our neighbors due to their masterful plan.
We now stand at the cusp of it’s realization and believe they will start implimenting their plan to depopulate and enslave.
I for one would rather die than have a chip in my body to be controlled and monitored. And I have worked too very hard in raising my children to only have them enslaved or murdered because of the greed of the few.
AS I see it, the word needs to reach many quickly, before it’s too late and their voices need to be heard locally and nationally. Trust in your neighbors needs to be reinstated and unity must be spread or we will find ourselves in the shackles of a police state. Ultimately..it MUST happen before this next election, before another puppet is placed in office. Those that believe that they or their children will be spared, only need to look at the nature of the crimes that have occurred (whether you believe 911 was an inside job or not) and the lies that our government has fed us.
Our founding fathers are most likely doing summersalts in there graves and would be sickened by the actions of what our country has become. We have been bought and sold, now we must stand up before the transaction is complete. But we NEED to be able to unite and demand accountability on a common ground, and very quickly because we know that time is short, and the beast is sitting on our doorstep.
To Wayne and the content above: Musicians who are true to what they write need no contracts, just a stage to preach thier words. Through the ages many have told the stories of injustice and layed it before those who actually listen. The contracts don’t make them great, the message does.
I have been a metal vocalist all my life and never reached the pinnacle, but still perform, not for the acclaim but for what I have to say, to reach whoever will listen. Oh, and just a side note, even though my perferred method is metal, I still respect Willie and any other genre for speaking the truth in any way they can. It’s to reach all the masses in this cause, becuase this is big and needs to cross All genres. This is mass genocide that we are facing and is an immenent danger that the elite will have in place within the next 4 years unless “we the people” rise up to stop it. To quote: it is still we the people, right?

a bit off the topic, but I think that we should stop referring to the “twin towers” ( as they do in this article), but instead call them the “three towers”… each time somebody says “twin” towers, it enforces the idea that there were only two towers that collapsed that day, but we all know that there were “three towers”.
we can assert a small piece of control over the language this way.
