Woman Blames Paralyzing Neurological Disease On Flu Shot
25-year-old can barely walk or talk just two months after being vaccinated

A Virginia woman is adamant that a flu shot has caused her to contract a debilitating and irreversible neurological disease, while the CDC refuses to comment on her case.
25-year-old Desiree Jennings was a fit and healthy cheerleader up until two months ago when she got a seasonal flu shot.
Ten days after the shot she began experiencing flu like symptoms, followed by severe convulsions and black outs.
Now she can barely talk or walk and her life has all but been destroyed.
After seeing around 60 doctors, Jennings was eventually diagnosed with dystonia, a paralyzing neurological disorder that causes the muscles to relentlessly contract and spasm.
Bizarrely, increased physical activity causes her heart rate to decline, meaning she can run for hours, however, her resting heart rate is 90 and walking a few steps is exhausting and almost impossible.
There is no cure for the disease and it gets worse over time.
The causes of the disease are not yet fully understood, however, it is thought that physical trauma, infection, heavy metals poisoning or adverse reaction to drugs are possible triggers.
Jennings is certain that the flu shot caused the disease and has pledged to do all she can to warn others.
“Nothing else explains such a fast moving neurological damage. The medical hospitals ruled out everything, CAT scans normal, blood normal, MRI normal. The only thing that explains it is the shot caused the neurological damage.” she told WUSA News.

The Centers for Disease Control has said it cannot comment on the case but added that it has no evidence to suggest flu vaccines can be connected to dystonia.
However, neuropathy and paralysis resulting from disorder of the cranial nerves are routinely listed as possible side effects resulting from flu shots.
In rare cases flu shots are known to cause the debilitating nerve disease Guillain-Barré Syndrome, which killed more people than the actual flu virus the last time a pandemic was declared in 1976.
In addition, studies have shown a direct relationship between the mercury based preservative thimerosal in flu shots and neurological disorders.
Cases of the neural development disorder autism amongst children have doubled since 2003, in line with an increase in the amount of thimerosal-containing childhood vaccines.
Further studies have shown a decline in neurodevelopmental disorders after the removal of thimerosal-containing vaccines.
Of course, there will be few repercussions should more people develop diseases from the new mercury and squalene containing H1N1 shots, given that the government has provided pharmaceutical companies blanket immunity from lawsuits. You know, just in case.

Filbert, do a google video search. There are A LOT OF VIDEOS on the subject showing how extensive these underground bases are. I watched one video showing extremely large underground areas and truck after truck bringing in supplies. They have used a new machine built by the air force to dig out the bases. They are all guarded like a classified military compound with turnstile doors.

What law are you referring to that forbids you from worrying?
I don’t believe the government has the ability to track. Computing is still too limited and the infrastructure weak and insecure to provide persistant tracking.
You have no complications that you know of because you have always gotten the shot. For all you know, you may have been brilliant, and now you are just average.
This woman had serious complications, and you should support people that do not want to get vaccinated if they don’t want to inject foreign matter into there body for whatever reason the feel.

Actually, there are 2 computers being built right now that can make 20 petaFLOP/s (quadrillion floating operations per second) and a 500 teraFLOP/s (trillion floating operations per second) respectively. I’ve never gotten the flu after getting the shot each year. Stomach flu, maybe, never lung.
I, perhaps foolishly as you have all informed me, trust that there are enough good people in this world who wouldn’t let a poisonous shot be injected into millions of people each year. i’m sorry. i will never believe that unless there’s hard proof beyond “OMG THERES MERCURY IN IT”. There’s mercury in fish, and at low levels (one .5ML shot a year) is harmless to a full grown adult.
To think that i might be any less intelligent because of the shots is obviously something I cannot prove, but the burden of proof is on you since I am a fully functioning, college graduate with a professional career.
I am strong believer in small government, freedom, and individuality – and like SOME of what is on this site and Alex’s others, but at some point people need to challenge the conspiracy that you people find behind everything. You all sit here and preach to the choir, perpetuating this circle jerk of conspiracy porn.

Valid points, however, there are several points at which your logic breaks down.
First off, it is indisputable scientific fact that having a virus (or even only the antibodies to that virus) injected into your bloodstream creates an entry vector into your body for similar viruses. A virus has a much harder time entering the body of a host if there are no similar viruses already inside that host. This is because viruses operate by injecting their DNA into the DNA of host cells, creating a sort of hybrid cell that then spreads the virus. The idea behind vaccination is that, if a system is acclimated to a virus, than that system will be better capable of handling subsequent viral invasions. The problem lies in the fact that some viruses (flu being one example) are highly mutative, meaning they evolve quickly. So the swine flu shot you get today that was produced in June is based off of the Swine flu in March, which is likely a different beast from the flu you will contract next week. Thus, you open your system to viral invasion anytime you accept a vaccination. For certain viruses such as Polio, this is an acceptable risk. You must decide the threshold of acceptable risk on your own, but most here have decided it is to high in regards to Swine flu. I have never gotten a flu shot and I have never (to my knowledge) gotten the flu. This is anecdotal evidence, but it is enough to make me avoid the vaccine.
To address your second point about “acceptable” levels of mercury – there is no such thing. Mercury is classified as a highly toxic chemical that can be debilitating even in tiny amounts. Even worse, mercury bio-accumulates, meaning it builds up in your system over time. The rationalization that a little bit at a time is ok is a dangerous one.
Some people here are crackpots, but you seem to throw the baby out with the bathwater. And just because you’re paranoid, it doesn’t mean they aren’t after you.

Adam , we’re not afraid of the regular flu shots- because they have been tested longer and have not been pushed through with minimal testing just to make sure all the masses are injected with it as this new H1N1 shot has. Also, with the regular flu shot, you can request one without the mercury and they don’t contain adjunctives such as Squalene– which is very dangerous injected in the blood stream.
The H1N1 vaccine was barely tested as long as it should have been where human lives are involved. Ordinary flu shots are tested much longer than this– and the fact that around 2006, bills were passed (around the time of the Bird Flu scare) to prevent any law suits for pandemic vaccines if death or bad side effects sends up red flags for many of us.
I don’t even want to be around anyone who has gotten the nasal flu spray because of the live viruses it contains. Those who get the nasal spray will be shedding live viruses for a certain period of time and they will be out in public with the rest of us.
Pharmacuetical companies have a strong partnership with our governments because they are the biggest lobbyists. Don’t think that they truly care about your or my health. This poor girl didn’t know any better- She is in her early 20’s and no doubt brought up to trust our government and pharmacuetical companies. Look how many drug company commercials are pushed at everyone in commercials on TV and in magazines. It’s disgusting!
When I was her age, I went out of my way to get flu vaccines too. Thankfully I realized they never really prevented the flu– as I got the flu anyway, regardless. I was so disgusted at wasting $$ for a vaccine that never worked that I stopped getting them.
I improved my diet- cut out all processed foods and refined sugars- as well as chemical sweetners– and did some detoxing- and to this day have never had a flu since. Vitamin D3 really does strengthen the immune system– Raw apples are also awesome in detoxing and have a good amount of Vitamin C.
Folks, if they make us take this H1N1 shot- please please take alot of Vitamin C with bioflavanoides right before and afterwards– and for about 2 weeks following all shots. THis will help detox from any toxins in the vaccines.
Take some essential oils like Flax seed Oil and Borage Oil — and Oil of Evening Primrose afterwards– every day with your supplements, because t his will help support your nervous system.
One of the most common side effects from the past Swine Flu vaccine was Gullain-Barre Syndrome — a paralysis much like what this girl is experiencing.- It seems vaccines have a tendency to upset the central nervous system and Mylean Sheath which protects the nervous system. Essential Oils as I mentioned will help with that- but are not a magic bullet. At least they will help.
I would also reccomend milk thistle taken three times a day for 2 weeks after the vaccines to help protect your liver from the crap in these vaccines.

H1N1 Update

I know we have been focusing on the vaccine issue extensively, but this is crunch time and the anti-vaccine forces are relentless. We are now facing a regular seasonal flu spiked with the H1N1 pandemic. Our best weapon against morbidity and mortality caused by the flu is information, and yet the public is being barraged with misinformation designed to encourage poor choices and thereby result in maximal morbidity and mortality.
I confess I was never impressed with FDR’s famous quip, “All we have to fear is fear itself,” – I think there is plenty else to fear. But his sentiment is very appropriate to the current situation – fear mongering around the seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines is what we have most to fear.
And of course, as is almost always the case, accurate information is complex and requires a nuanced understanding. This creates uncertainty, which is easy to exploit to manufacture unreasonable fear.
The anti-vaccine fear mongers are playing every card in the deck. They are arguing (falsely) that H1N1 is not severe enough to warrant getting the vaccine, that the vaccine does not work anyway, and that there are unacceptable or unknown risks to the vaccine. In the most extreme cases, bizarre conspiracy theories are brought to bear, but I will not discuss these here as anyone compelled by such fantasies is likely beyond the reach of any information I could provide.
Mark Crislip has already provided an excellent overview of the evidence for seasonal flu vaccine efficacy in adults. To summarize – the evidence is complex and mixed, but there is compelling evidence that the flu vaccine works as designed, in that it produces protective antibodies against influenza. There is also evidence that it decreases morbidity and complications from the flu, although it is less clear if it decreases the number of flu cases. Further, the efficacy of the vaccine depends highly on how well the strains vaccinated against match the circulating strains.
Efficacy also depends highly on compliance – the percentage of the population (especially those likely to spread the flu to vulnerable populations) who get the vaccine.
The bottom line is that the vaccine works enough to make it worthwhile, and it is extremely safe. At a time when health care costs are crushing our economy, it is also worth pointing out that it is cost effective.
And yet confidence in the H1N1 vaccine is decreasing under the onslaught of scare mongering and misinformation. A recent survey of UK nurses found that 47 percent do not plan on getting the H1N1 vaccine, while only 23 percent said they would. This is concerning because health care workers are perceived as having more authority with the public, and because protecting the sick and elderly likely depends most on their health care providers getting vaccinated.
It is also important to note that the H1N1 vaccine has a big advantage over the seasonal flu vaccine – the match between the vaccine and the circulating virus is high. This is perhaps the biggest predictor of efficacy for the flu vaccine.
How Bad Is It?
The evidence so far indicates that, as predicted, H1N1 is now making its second circuit through Western countries, including the UK, Canada, and US. The CDC reports that flu cases are increasing rapidly, and are exceeding the normal number of cases that would be seen at this time of year from the seasonal flu. By all reports, we are in for a heavy flu season. It does not look like the 1918-1919 pandemic, but a bad flu season is still a concern. The average flu season kills 30,000 Americans and 500,000 worldwide.
Statistics from August 30 to October 3 in the US indicate: Influenza and Pneumonia Syndrome – 12,384 hospitalizations and 1,544 deaths, of those influenza was confirmed in laboratory tests in 3,874 and 240 respectively.
Compared to the seasonal flu H1N1 is about as deadly overall, but kills a higher proportion of those who are otherwise young and healthy, and also is more deadly for pregnant women. About 1% of people infected with H1N1 get a severe form of the flu likely requiring hospitalization and at high risk of death.
Is the vaccine safe?
There is a range of concerns that have been raised about the vaccine. These range from those that are reasonable and should be raised about any new intervention at one end, to outrageous conspiracy mongering at the other. Of course, those who raise appropriate concerns hate to be painted with the same brush as the conspiracy theorists, and so I will make that distinction at the outset. And, as stated above, the conspiracy theories are beyond the scope of this entry.
I would file under appropriate concerns the fact that the previous H1N1 pandemic vaccine from 1976 resulted in an increased risk of Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) – about 1 per 100,000 people vaccinated. The seasonal flu vaccine in the last 32 years has resulted in excess cases of GBS of about 1 in 1 million. While we expect that the H1N1 vaccine will likely have the same risk of GBS as the seasonal flu vaccine, the US and UK have instituted monitoring systems (essentially encouraging doctors to report cases of GBS following vaccination) as an early warning if the H1N1 vaccine has a higher risk of GBS.
I discuss the issue of GBS in more detail here, but the bottom line is that the risk of GBS ranges from low to very low, and it will be monitored. Also, early experience with the H1N1 vaccine has not resulted in any cases of GBS, so at the very least the risk is not high.
Most of the concerns brought up about the H1N1 vaccine I consider to be unreasonable fear mongering. For example, anti-vaccinationists have tried to raise fears about adjuvants in the vaccine. They consistently fail to point out that the versions of the vaccine approved by the FDA for use in the US do not contain adjuvants.
Adjuvants are substances added to vaccine to increase the immune response. This allows for the use of less viral material in the vaccine. Vaccine adjuvants are all extensively tested and are generally safe. Any reactions are extremely rares, and certainly much less likely than morbidity from the disease the vaccine is targeting.
Harriet Hall has already addressed the fear mongering surrounding squalene and other adjuvants here, and David Gorski addresses similar concerns here.
Another concern that is brought up is that one can get sick from the vaccine itself. Bill Maher infamously stated recently on his show that the vaccine “injects disease” into the arm. The injectible version of the vaccine does not contain “disease” – it is a killed virus vaccine, and it is impossible to get the flu from the vaccine. The nasal spray vaccine does contain a live virus, but it is an attenuated virus – meaning that it is weakened so as not to cause illness but only to provoke an immune response. There is a small risk that attenuated viruses will spontaneously mutate and revert back to a more virulent form, but the risk is very small.
And, of course, the now classic vaccine scare mongering regarding thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, is being trotted out. These claims are wrong on multiple levels. We have already dealt extensively with the false claim that thimerosal is unsafe. A thorough review and reference list can be found here. Thimerosal is safe in the doses used in vaccines.
Further, the single-shot version of the seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines, and the nasal vaccine, all do not contain any thimerosal. Thimerosal is only used in the multi-shot version of the vaccine, to prevent contamination.
Conclusion
While there is uncertainty and reasonable concerns regarding the flu vaccine, and more research is welcome, current evidence is sufficient to recommend that the vaccine is safe and effective. The bottom line with any medical intervention is risk vs benefit. The benefit of the H1N1 vaccine far outweighs the minimal risk.
Further, the more people who get the vaccine the more effective it will be. At this rate, we are unlikely to achieve herd immunity, but everyone who gets vaccinated will not only provide themselves with a level of protection, but will also protect those around them.
It is still too early to tell how severe the H1N1 pandemic will be, but at least it will result in a bad flu season. It is also clear at this point that the pandemic will be significantly worsened by fear-mongering against the most effective defense we have against the flu – the vaccine.
There is a body count attached to this unreasonable fear, justifying FDR’s famous words.

So humans are being used as incubators for live virus to mutate as it battles the immune system. It is like a sperm trying to break through the egg, the more of millions of human incubators are tinjected with the nasal spray the better the odd’s for the live virus to mutate beyond the immune systems ability to counteract it.

in our small city here in n california they are reporting not enough vaccines to go around causing people to panic and accuse others of hoarding the vaccine for themselves and their families. i don’t know what more i can do to help people who for one don’t want it and for two don’t know they need it. i give up! someone please copy the information i posted above and repost so i don’t have to. i suffer from fibromyalgia which really means “doctors don’t know disease” so they slap a name on it when in reality it should be called “vaccine damaged disease”

Somebody mentioned it’s not only the substance but also how it absorbed into your body that matters. Don’t really give a crap about that science article with that vaccine promoting spiel. I’ll tell you one thing, the FDA’s website has the package insert for these H1N1 vaccines, and on them they explicitly state that there has been no testing on children and pregnant women and as such there is no degree of guarantee whatsoever that they are safe and will not cause adverse affects.

just got a call from my sister who was in tahoe over the weekend with her boyfriend and they had met a woman who mentioned she had recently got the flu shot and it gave her the flu. they exchanged phone numbers to meet up at a later time and my sister finds out that she died. she even went as far as saying she wonderered if it had anything to do with the shot she had gotten. mind you, she didn’t believe any of this… until now. unfortunately, good luck proving it being it didn’t kill her right away and they’ll just say she must have had an underlying condition or a heart attck or some crap like that.
