Political science professor at the University of Texas at El Paso Charles Boehmer points out that “The military was not called out during the Great Depression….”
So why is the military planning on how to crush civil protest in regards to the current economic crisis (see this, this, this, this, this and this)?
Is it because the theft – via “bailouts” and other hanky-panky by Treasury, the Fed and others – of hard-earned taxpayer wealth is so obvious that the military expects Americans to revolt?
The other potential explanation is that the military has been told that this financial crisis could be much, much worse than the Great Depression.
So which is it? The obviousness of the theft or the severity of the crisis?
My guess . . . both.

I agree, both seem obvious. As far as I understood, there just wasn’t anything close to kind of debt in the Great Depression that we face today. And, because of internet and other forms of communication, the public is much more aware of the government’s lack of leadership and corrupted.
Revolt, probably won’t work. American troops are, like the British in India, gentleman… or at least darn good citizens. I think if the Americans respond with non-violent resistance — refusing to cooperate with the current regime — the people will prevail. If they begin destroying property and attacking soldiers…. God help America.

I SWEAR TO GOD i was pulled over riding a pedal bike with a 2hp motor on it yesterday at 12 noon time… Funny cause i usually carry a 357 in the glove box or under the seat of my jeep and if i would have been carrying i think i would have made him strip go in the 6 lane highway he wanted me to ride my bicycle on and taser his ass in front of everyone…. seriously, he had fifty reasons none of which made any damn sense when i rebuked his statments with facts of the law he came up with something else, it ultimately came down to do you know what the UCC is, and i got away with only giving him a name and birth date… better than my DL or ID card, thought he was goona beat me and the dog for a second… the point i guess is that i build pedal assit bikes for a means of survival in the future i have almost ten of them and every cop has a different story, IT IS ALL COMPLIANCE, will you BLINDLY obey… i seriously wish i was packing, my dog rides with me and i was embarrassed he was stopping up traffic to question a guy on a bike in the middle of the day? and it amounted to NOTHING except fear and control… I want to treat these people the way they treat me, from now on they should think about what people have lost and what they are doing to them, even a ticket could put some people under, or a ticket from 6 years ago getting thrown in jail when you cant pay rent already, alot of people are going to die soon, the people myself included can not take anymore, stop the teadious police and military actions, stop taking the jobs and calling me delinquent on bills when there is no money cause you took it all, I CANT EVEN BORROW 50 BUCKS FROM GRANDMA CAUSE SHE IS LIVING OFF WAL MART 7.25 AN HOUr, j/k about grandma but she aint got what she used too… i wouldnt ask for help any way, ILL TAKE WHAT I NEED FROM THOSE WAITNG FOR JESUS TO SAVE THEM LIKE THEY WERE TAUGHT…

This depression will be infinitely worse. Back then people weren’t oin hock up their assholes with credit card debt and HELOC loans. Also people were more self sufficient back then. Over the last 40 or so years the government had essentially bred a class of people that are incapable of feeding themselves.
Back in the 30’s, people were independent, had dignity. People were gracious and courteous.
What we have now is a deliberately dumbed down mass of sheep who couldn’t pour piss out of a boot without a government social worker to show them instructions printed on the heel!
The feral government knows this and is making preparations.
Maybe half the militry will go along with it but half will revolt. I suspect that will be enough. With the 7% of the population that are not drooling nosepickers also revolting we can take this back.
End the Fed, abrogate the debt, confiscate the Fed’s assets both here and abroad. Arrest the Rockefellers, Rothschilds and the rest and confiscate their assets basiclaly returning what have stolen from us. Get back our gold and silver. What UN troops would actually fire on the people, when most governments also hate our government? In fact, who does like our government? Or our bankers? To be fair – our military is a much different beast then it was before WWII.
However the use of Military for civilian policing is unacceptable except in times of Martial Law.
Unfortunately the checks and balances on Martial Law have been so destroyed that there is no safe or valis use of it anymore as well.
The Bailout proved conclusively, however, that we no longer live in a legitimate Constitutional Republic – so I do not expect lawful action on the part of it’s public servants.

How could it be a revolt if the so called “people” really run the government? This is psychological catch phrase strategy to instill the idea that THEY are above us, and any action taken outside the crooked system will be labeled insurrection, chaos, anti government and so on.

One you say “taxpayer” you have already said “victim of government theft” without counting any of the bailouts whatsoever. The sheep and fatted calves are learning what they have been bred for all these many decades. The system for keeping them peaceful may well break down. That will not be a good day for anyone if it comes. So what can we do to preserve as many and as much of what we value as possible against that day? What alternate systems can we build out for when the current systems crash? Let us roll up our sleeves and get to work to save what we can in this New Year.

surprisingly little at first, you sort of go numb the pain sets in later anywhere from a few seconds to minutes. a lot depends on where you get it range, caliber etc.
It took an NVA round to the shoulder, It went right through. There was no real pain until I saw all the blood then the brain wakes up. The body makes it hurt so you won’t move it too much and create worse damage. Later it felt like my whole shoulder, upper arm and chest was on fire.
They say M-16 rounds hurt more because of the higher velocity.
Best to avoid it if possible.
Get yourself a good vest on Ebay, it won’t stop an M16 round but it will take enough out of it where it may not be a bad hit. They will stop a 9mm like from an MP-5 and also do well against a .40 S&W used a lot by local cops.

I will aways believe in and promote freedom for everyone if they believe in our Founding Documents, but what will it take to be able to stay free and safe? Self deturmination not a dictatorship system.

Back in the mid-80’s there was a man who was a devout atheist. He was an art professor at a university, his name was/is Howard Storm and he had a Near Death Experience. At first he went to a bad place but then began to ask God to get him out of there. God answered his petition in the affirmative, Howard got out of that bad place and went to a beautiful and peaceful place. While there he was told many things about the future of the United States and the planet. One of the things he was told was that there would be an economic collapse worst than the Great Depression and that it would be cause by greed and selfishness of people. It was NOT something that was a Divine punishment. He was also told that this future could be avoided or at least have it’s severity lessened if people changed their ways. It’s interesting because all of this happened was discussed long before t he current economic problems and predictions.
It’s up to everyone to decide for themselves. It certainly makes one think.

When our service persons are told, if they do not obey commands they will be shot, then they will shoot you when ordered to do so. Study “REX 84″ and North American Union, and New World Order, be aware of the treason planned to end our sovereignty, and sell us out. Why do you think they have killed manufacturing in our nation? There is not one decent politician in Washington DC that is not part of the plan to sell America.
When will you be ready to elect and put in office a Patriot that will save this nation. You had the chance to elect Don Cordell in November, you didn’t do it. This situation has been planned since 1915, and when they started the United Nations in 1945, I knew the day would come when all of our rights would end. Free Speech is now called Terrorism, and Hate speech. We are told we have to have permits to own guns, that the 2nd amendment did not mean we could defend our nation. The 4th amendment killed when they want to search you, on any pretense, or they want your property for a richer contractor. The 6th amendment killed now when they tell you, that you do not have the right to Habeas Corpus, so they can lock us up in the DETENTION Centers that Cheney gave $800,000 last year for more camps. Just search for PresidentDon and you will find the answers to what we must do to save America. Look up Public Law 87-297 that gives the government the right to enter your home and demand surrender of any and all weapons. One of the Executive Orders, gives our government the right to enter our homes and confiscate excess food for the community.

When everything on CNN is a half-truth or bold faced lie and our politicans have blackmail tapes up the ying yang, only a complete fool would have the audacity to claim the system represents a democracy in any way. Think about that… you have no say in which the system you live. A REAL democracy would utilize technology so the people could vote on every major bill or policy… true political participation… true say in the matters that have real effects on your life.
This could be done through a phone system where you dial in, confirm your identity and VOTE on things such as:
a) A bailout
b) Immigration
c) A war
If the disparity of the masses is ignored it becomes an issue of national security.

Wow. The Headline here pretty much says it all. Arrest rather than be arrested.
The new Pres. will pretty much have to overhaul the Justice Department and bring back rule of law. He’s a brilliant guy, but he’ll need many like-minded, brave, fearless, dedicated and decent souls to make this happen and bring back justice AND the faith of the beleaguered (and broke) American people. I still believe (in this new bunch) but time will tell the tale.
