The comedian covering the Bilderberg meeting for the London Guardian has been detained by authorities in Athens, Greece after taking a photograph close to the site of the annual elite gathering.
Charlie Skelton has also personally contacted the Infowars team to clarify his position and explain why he is approaching the issue from a comic angle.
In Skelton’s third article in today’s Guardian, he details an encounter with armed Greek police close to the Astir Palace resort near Athens, during which he was menaced, asked to identify himself and was and eventually detained after photographing the sea view.
Again the approach Skelton takes is a comical one, however, he maintains that his detainment was very serious:
Over came the man with the machine gun. Over came the man with the special mirror-on-a-stick for car bombs. It was the first time in my life, and hopefully the last, that I’ve been intimidated by a mirror on a stick. They circled round me. One of them, the one in the photo with one hand up and the other on his pistol, kept prodding me in the shoulder, and shouting “Give the camera! Just give the camera!” All around me: “Delete! Delete photos!” followed by a lame tug of war for the camera with no great self-belief on either side, which I won.
Then it became: “Get in the car!” Get in the car!” I wasn’t about to get in the car. I remember saying: “One of you has a machine gun, you’re shouting at me, I don’t understand why, I took one photograph, this all seems a bit strange. What’s going on here?”
Skelton says he was then taken to the police station and asked to delete his photo, which he refused to do. Eventually the police allowed him to leave.

We covered Mr Skelton’s dispatches in our article yesterday, pointing out that the Guardian’s intention seemed to be to belittle the importance of the meeting by creating a comedy out of it.
However, Mr Skelton has since contacted us to explain that he is a fan of Infowars and that this is the only way he could draw any attention to Bilderberg in the mainstream media.
Indeed, his latest piece seems to play up the fact that the mainstream media should be covering the event but, as ever, is nowhere to be seen, as this extract demonstrates:

If this is really your only concern – then you have already been defeated.
Alex did INDEED use the money to acquire a new – more professional – TV/Radio studio – which was a NECCESSARY precursor to doing the Dish Network show.
If the last MoneyBomb had recieved the support it SHOULD have – then he would have had enough to finalize the deal – but the TV show is still an acheivable goal – thanks in no small part to the last moneybomb – and – like the Ron Paul campaign – future moneybombs should contine to grow significantly until all the resources are in place to Escalate the Infowar!

I am all for contributing to things you believe in but I am also for accountability. If anyone asks you to contribute to a cause they should also supply you with the name of the reputable accountant/trustee that will be documenting all credits and debits to said campaign. That protects AJ and his supporters. Too often folks give to causes where information about the funds are never made public and often times there is not even an honest third party put in place to oversee the funds. Sometimes the precise plans for the funds are never laid out or ever explained.
Honest folks know to set up ways that would remove any temptation because honest folks are very much aware that they are no different than any other person when it comes to human weaknesses and temptations.

When he made that comment about reading, I think he was alluding to the fact that his email to Paul Watson regarding the first story (which was unjustifiably harsh) had gone unanswered!
Also – give the guy a break. At least SOMEONE from the msm is covering the conference and alerting people to the fact it is happening – even if they are not doing so in exactly the precise way you would wish.
Remember, most people have not yet ‘woken up’. Some need to be coaxed and entertained into it, not shouted into it. Skelton still has a few more posts – maybe he will get a bit more factual now he’s got people reading.

Ok you guys obviously weren’t on earlier when the first article about Skelton went on this site. I gave him a little bit of stress. He didn’t appreciate it. But that’s life when you work for a newspaper and it is there for all the world to see. I guess he wanted to clear the air after it was apparent that people were believing that he was paid to diminish the importance of the Bilderberg meet. I believe that I may have at first judged him a little harshly but altogether fairly in my opinion. His first couple of articles on the bilderberg meet weren’t the best.

I can’t believe prison planet is ignoring the Buffalo Flight 3407 investigation. This is big news. Any reporting of The Bilderberg Meetings even if it is trying to belittle it is good in my opinion, many people just don’t know what Bilderberg is and they may go find out. It’s like when a computer game gets bad press and then goes on to sell more because of it. I’d rather it mentioned in The Guardian than not be mentioned at all.
I can’t understand how anyone can not think something shady is going on when all these big names are getting together for their “secret meet up”.

News like this receives NO HELP from any establishment power. This is completely pointless, on the part of the police. Alex Jones has video footage of Queen Beatrix at the 2006 Bilderberg meeting… it’s not like you’re going to be able to stop someone from taking a picture.

I would like to confirm that I am indeed attending the Bilderberg Conference here in Athens. Infact, I am lazing by the pool in my UN-sanctioned speedos as I write this on my Blackberry. Yes it’s true, we plan to discuss the New World Order; a global solution for a global problem. Unfortunately the global problem is that a few people are getting in the way of our plans. Next in the plan is to carry on terrifying the public with lots of media-hysteria about Al Qaida, Pig Flu, and Alien Invasion. As you know the UK Corporation Ltd is now officially in chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Hah! Where did all our money go?! I gave it all to the UN/IMF/EU/CFR. Sorry y’all. But it’s true, there’s no money left. You forgot to mention how we will also be doing what we can to raise investors confidence in the market, and squeeze from them what we didn’t get in the last crash. Once we’re satisfied with the numbers, we’ll have it come crashing down again. Try and keep it on the down low though, or Kissinger might get angry. He’s 10 times uglier when he’s angry, but then again, that might help with our plans to lower the population this year by 2 billion or so, by scaring people to death.

It’ll be interesting to see if there are pics of attendees coming or going? Or, is this location a decoy? It would seem like a lot of trouble to set up a decoy. Regardless, look forward to seeing what info appears from the conference?
Also, glad there are still a few insiders who don’t mind sharing info and realize that even though they’re caught up in the evil they do feel an obligation to let fellow human beings know what’s going on.
