Young Children Taught To Inform On Parents In Tampa

My girlfriend is doing her internship for Elementary Education.

And yesterday at the elementary school they had a Puppet Show for the 2nd and 3rd graders, all about abuse.  Sexual abuse, Physical abuse, Parental abuse.

The whole show she described to me was actually talking about parents touching the kids private parts and things like that.

I just find that ABSURD.  Small kids should not be hearing about sexual acts in school at that early of an age.

They also asked and had kids raise their hands at the end of the show, if any of them felt as if their parents did any of the things that was on puppet show etc.   The teachers are then instructed to relate any who raise hands to direct them to guidance counselor who will contact the Childhood Protection Services.
