Youtube Restores The Alex Jones Channel
Pressure from viewers and legal counter claims resurrect Alex Jones and Infowarrior channels

Youtube has restored the official Alex Jones Youtube channel after legal counter claims were filed against the original claims of copyright violation.
It took two weeks for this issue to be resolved, with Youtube examining and determining exactly who had filed the original complaint.
The Infowars team had to write up legal papers and file counter claims in federal court, which eventually prompted the complainant to back down.
The Google owned company reversed it’s decision to pull the channel and resurrected it, along with the backup channel The Infowarrior, which was also restricted last week.
Youtube revealed that a second copyright violation was filed, however this turned out to be a fake, with no supporting evidence, no doubt filed by a person who simply dislikes Alex Jones and Infowars.
It also seems that the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette did not file a complaint against Alex for showing a print out of one of their articles, as originally suggested by Youtube.
The Alex Jones Channel, started by a fan but since embraced as the “official” Alex Jones micro-site on You Tube, has routinely featured in the website’s most popular ranking charts and has collectively attracted close to three million views for videos painstakingly catalogued and uploaded over the past two years.
According to Youtube’s figures, it is the 49th most subscribed to channel of all time in the GURU section, and the 99th most viewed channel of all time, despite having only started in February 2008. Furthermore, it is the 9th most viewed channel this month in it’s section, despite having been recently restricted.
The channel’s deletion seemed terminal, but thanks to the efforts of thousands of viewers and Infowars readers, who have called Youtube to complain about the censorship, the company was prompted to listen to our counter claims.
We would like to thank the viewers/readers for calling in to Youtube and all the Youtubers that have supported the Alex Jones channel. This victory shows the effect that people power can have in the Infowar.

However, having earned this success, we must now better prepare for the inevitable attacks that will follow. There is no doubt that there are people out there who desperately want to see important sources of information eliminated from Youtube, and there is no doubt that the Alex Jones Channel will come under fire in the future.
We would therefore like to announce “Operation Evacuation” – There are over 2000 vitally important videos that, for the moment, are confined to what may now be a compromised vessel.
We encourage readers to take whichever they feel are the most important videos from The Alex Jones Channel, and mirror them all over Youtube.

Come on, shut down to limit awareness of Bilderberg? Okay, it’s possible, but . . . the channel only had four million views since inception in 2008. The MSM get more like 40 million “views” per HOUR.
If the’d had a really serious blackout of indie media, then I could buy it. But isn’t it more likely this was just some low-level globalist trying “help the cause”?
There clearly is an organized effort to shut down indie media, but it hasn’t really gotten far enough at this point to make a real difference.
The lesson is that we have to increase the pressure. We’re not yet pressing hard enough. I would say we’ve not yet really pressed at all, which is understandable because we’re not organized.
Jones, if you’re serious about the rest of us taking action, how about a little serious leadership, huh? Of course, we need a serious historian, actually we need many serious historians. But right now, we need a serious leader even more. It’s getting close to the point where anyone with resources who refuses to lead when asked cannot be considered to deserve our respect.
By lead, I of course mean organize, not just direct. We have plenty of people walking around giving directions right now. Without an organization, it means nothing.

Firefox users: install the Video Download Helper addon.
Choose at least the HQ18 from the VDH dropdown list.
You can use a freeware converter like Super to change the format if you want, but it really isn’t necessary. You can just re-upload the video as it is to most video sharing sites.

Every time I go to youtube or google video (and other video sites) theres always some Alex Jones video right there on the front page.
Then looking into it you find them spammed and spawned all over the sites.
You all may find it as “well good we need to get the word out” the problem is not everyone dances to the drum of AJ and its annoying to see it everywhere.
I go into videos that have absolutely nothing to do with 9.11 and such and theres nearly always some douche parrotting on about the same old things.
Some 9.11 videos shouldnt be a debate, some are there for the memory of the people that died, and yet family members cant read the comments from people offering condolences because some 14 year old kid is writing “sheeple wake up” and about thermite.
Show some respect in future and by the way, I find it ironic that 9/10 accounts that complain about censorship and a cover up are accounts with comments disabled or comments pending approval, thats hypocritical, shows a selfish one sided argument and a lack of ability to handle any form of counter theory or proof of a mistake in a conspiracy theory.

I don’t think the plan to start mirroring your videos all over YouTube is a good idea – it could further damage the relationship between you and YouTube, after all YouTube have the authority to delete the channel if it so wishes.
Also, I think it will impair the quality of YouTube – when I view a video, I want to see different videos in the ‘Related Videos’ section, not countless mirrors!
What you really should have asked for is for your fans to rate your videos highly, make comments on them and post them on their blogs and other social networking and news sites such as Digg, Reddit, Bebo and Facebook.

I need to correct something in this article:
The channel is the 49th most subscribed GURU channel of all-time. Not 49th overall most subscribed. Same goes for the claim that it is the 99th most viewed channel. That is also not true. Again, it’s only the 99th most viewed guru channel.

I am a fan of Alex Jones but what difference does this actually make? The elite still want rid of this channel. They will want rid of Alex Jones sooner or later. They won’t give up there. I expect that sooner or later these scumbags will stop playing altogether and start giving us a taste of what life will soon be like under a New World Order. I won’t be fucking playing by any of the new rules. I will be making some up of my own. It’s a victory of sorts but it’s not going to make one shit bit of difference in the long run. We know everything we need to know. I hardly watch the videos now or read the articles as much because it is all the same shit, just getting closer and closer everyday we sit on our asses and do shit about this problem. The most simple simon way to do it:
Install the Firefox web browser if you don’t already have it.
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
This is for the english version. If your native language is something else, then look around on the site for your own particular language.
With Firefox installed, get the Video Download helper addon, available here…
http://www.downloadhelper.net/
Install it, restart Firefox. Go to Youtube and where it is you want to download videos from.
You’ll see three colored balls circling each other on your Firefox tool bar at the top. That’s VDH. Next to the colored balls, you’ll see a little arrow. Click on the arrow and then you’ll get a dropdown list. Choose at least HQ18. Then start the download.
I’ve had problems with the latest verison of DVH sort of hanging on me, so I went back to version 4.3 which has been working just fine. Your mileage may differ about the latest version. But if it’s problematic, get the 4.3 instead and do an install-over.
There are all sorts of freeware flv/mp4 players on the net. Do a search if you need one.
The advantage to all of this is you don’t need to crank up a third-party program. If you’re there with Firefox, bodda boom bodda bing, you’re downloading the file to your hard drive.

If you’re using Windows, this freeware program will convert just about any multimedia format to just about any other format. Read the description on what it does and how to do it.

This program is an absolute must for anyone who works with multimedia files on the Windows OS. It needs at least directX 9c installed.

I’m not a lawyer, but I can read. Anyone is allowed to reproduce copyrighted material for the purposes of news reporting, criticism or commentary. It is called “fair use”, and this is what Congress has to say about it in Title 17 of the US Code:

This should be an aspect that Alex Jones should have been making an issue out of YouTube and letting them know that if they are going to tow the line of Censor Nazis’ then he should clean thier clocks with thier hypocrisy. It is obvious that much of Alex Jones content gets removed as you look for many interviews he did and were massively watched, now they are gone… Keep up the good work Alex and call a spade a spade.

Its a private site, they caved in to pressure (apparantly) when they didnt need to.
If you started a site hosting videos and in say 5 years it was really popular and you had advertisers and such then you kept seeing all these videos claiming you and your admin was censoring them you would look into it further.
Looking into it further you find years of “HerculesTube is censoring us” “HerculesTube is being controlled by the illuminati” and shouting and ranting dont you thing YOU would stop for a moment and think “wait, why should I allow this jerk to insult me?”
And so like on EVERY site I know if you piss off the admin they tend to ban you.
So you close down the account and then you are harrassed, people spamming how much of an idiot you are for taking down the account, people filling the answering machine at HerculesTube with how evil and controlled you are.
Then you pop it back up (caved) and now you hear its because of legal threats (like a court would bother) and you are told you got owned and now have to sit through more of the same comments of evil ownership and how they got a win over you because they had evidence that scared you.
This can only mean a couple of things:
1. you was in on it all along and wanted to help create a controversy, I have never known a site to cave to ‘legal pressure’ when there is no legal right to an account.
2. you caved to spam and complaints about being a nazi controlled site.
And will now be insulted for ever more.
It seems really suspicious to me.

Dear champion, here is some food for thought. We are in a infowar, not a shooting match. The back ups I was referring to are our tools to enlightening others. I was not referring to watching them over and over again. You say you support Alex, why don’t you join prison planet TV and burn like crazy.
Also another reason to make back ups is it adds to the growing body of social and political truth, other then recording the history the times, spreading the word wakes up the people so that when the time comes you are not alone.

All I can say is this story seems a bit odd, why would a judge even entertain such rubbish in his courtroom.
So a youtube account got closed, it wasnt a contract, nobody paid for the channel, its just a video site with people able to upload videos.
Be thankful I wasnt an admin because I wouldn’t have backed down because I know no court in the world would entertain such a pile of childish shit.
I suspect google has an admin friend of Mr Jones who agreed to such a rubbish act of conspiracy theorists wet dreams.
Website hosts videos for free closes an account and puts it back up again due to a threat of legal proceedings, what a bunch of bull.
Trust me, absolute crap and a silly childish game from the start.

Yes, there is a contract between YouTube and an account-holder. Do you want to know why they cannot discriminate based on the *lawful* speech expressed in the videos? Because if they do, they will lose the protections of the DMCA.
I’d guess that was the main claim in the complaint that was filed.
