Joe Biden urged a union president to use physical violence to teach a Republican congressman a lesson.
While campaigning for U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota on Thursday, Biden slammed her opponent, Congressman Kevin Kramer.
Likening Kramer to a “lying dog face pony soldier” from a John Wayne movie, Biden said, “These guys are amazing. They just stand up, flat out, stand up and say things that are absolutely mind-boggling.”
Reading off a piece of paper, Biden said Kramer called soybean farmers’ concerns about an apparent lack of orders “hysteria” and that they “don’t have a very high threshold for pain,” prompting boos from the audience.
“Well, I get that the president of the trade union is up here, he’ll show him a threshold of pain,” Biden threatened.
The audience laughed and cheered.
“Don’t have a high threshold of pain?” Biden continued, seemingly bewildered.
Earlier this year, Biden himself said he wanted to beat up Trump.
“If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,” Biden said about Trump’s comments about women.
To be clear, it’s Biden who thinks only he should be able to put his hands on women and girls uninvited.
