FACEBOOK has unpublished the page of a legitimate and official UK news outlet because we published a story about Tommy Robinson standing as an MEP in a direct attack on democracy.
Facebook sent the message to our Editor-In-Cheif Jordan James that said ‘Your Facebook page Politialite UK has been unpublished.” and then banned his account, again for 30 days, meaning the website cannot update to its more than 40,000 followers.
Breitbart also reported that Politicalite was “under attack by a combination of algorithm changes and unfair suspensions by the big tech Masters of the Universe.”
Breitbart News previously covered Google’s decision to suspend advertising services to Politicalite, and Facebook’s suspension of the site’s page amid a crackdown on supporters of Tommy Robinson following the release of “Panordama,” Robinson’s undercover exposure of bias at the BBC. PayPal also recently suspended service to the website.
Earlier, Politicalite had announced we were ditching Facebook for a live stream, due to the continued censorship of news.
Tommy announced he is standing as an MEP, he will launch his campaign in Wythenshawe, Manchester tonight, and Politicalite will cover the event LIVE on our Twitter feed.
Mr Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon will stand as an independent in the North West.
He said he will donate 100% of his EU Salary to victims of child sexual abuse.
In a party political broadcast, Robinson said: “Like many of you, I wasn’t born in a powerful or wealthy family.”
“My mother was an Irish immigrant, and my father a plumber.”
“They taught me that hard work and sacrifice lead to success.”
“They taught me to stand up for myself, for others, and my beliefs”
“I have never voted, I never beleive it would make a change, none of the politicains in our country could relate to me or even seem to care.”
“Iknow what it feels like to be left behind.”
“We are ruled by people who know we exist but they still don’t care.”
“It doesn’t have to be this way, fairness is possible.”
