Greek media suggest Christianity in Lesvos is under attack by Islamist migrants as more Christian structures are vandalised.
As Voice of Europe has previously reported, the Crucifix on the island of Lesvos was vandalised and destroyed. Authorities have now revealed that Islamists have desecrated other Orthodox religious symbols.
They vandalised a small ‘proskinitari’ built in the shape of a small chapel in the same area as where the Crucifix once stood.
Sources have described that after the Crucifix was torn down, authorities were instructed to prevent it being raised again for fear of retaliation from the religious minorities.
