Unsurprisingly, on Monday, MSNBC’s Morning Joe returned to its usual Trump bashing. The smears started with a charge from host Joe Scarborough that, “the central defining nature of his presidency now has to do with attacking people who are not white.”
Not to be outdone, New York Times political correspondent Nick Confessore took a turn at attacking President Trump and his supporters. Confessore went as far as proclaiming President Trump has a loyal base due to “the politics of racism and nationalism in this country.” The reporter claimed they are reportedly “terrified” and “frightened” due to “the reality that in 20 or 30 or 40 years, this country is not going to be a majority white country.
According to Morning Joe, historic tax cuts, conservative judges, and potential peace on the Korean Peninsula were peanuts compared with the MSNBC-proclaimed truth that Trump voters are only loyal due to their apparent fear of a “non-white country.” They also completely disregarded the fact that President Trump did better among Latinos and African Americans than Mitt Romney.
