What a remarkably moving thing to see an old Marine declaring his gratitude for the privilege of having fought one last battle on behalf of a man he feels might yet be among this country’s greatest presidents in a video that is now understandably going viral.
It does not get much more American than this – and thank you for your service, Dr. Larry Lindsey.
“…It is you people the good people of America for whom I cry, my loved ones and my friends, and the sacrifices they continue to make in this fight for our country. Dying is the easy part. Dying is the comforting part if you know who your God is and you know that he holds your hand. And I do. I praise God for a wonderful life. So many blessings I have known… I want you to know, each and every one of you that we have taken on a challenge that is only just begun. The real battle lies ahead. And General Mattis, I want to request sir, Give ’em hell and Semper Fi. God Bless.“
Dr. Lindsey passed away over the weekend. RIP.
The far left in this country, including so many among the political class and the media, still cannot understand the work, the effort, the determination, that went into this last election cycle, and how so many now feel so proud of what was accomplished. Donald Trump, a man mocked, ridiculed, and dismissed by the entrenched powers of the elite, withstood the relentless onslaught of his many detractors via the support and subsequent (and greater) power of millions of supporters like Dr. Lindsey.
And yes, the fight has just begun.
