She told Tapper there needs to be a serious political solution to the crisis in Syria, but added, “There is not any sort of option where a political solution’s gonna happen with Assad at the head of the regime.”
Tapper asked her if regime change is now the policy of the Trump administration. Haley responded, “Regime change is something that we think is going to happen because all of the parties are going to see that Assad’s not the leader that needs to be taking place for Syria.”
