House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has weighed in on the accusations against former Vice-President Joe Biden.
Speaking with reporters on Monday, Pelosi made it clear she does not think the accusations made against him should stop him from running in 2020.
“I don’t think that this disqualifies him from being president,” Pelosi said, according to The Hill. “Not at all.”
Pelosi’s remarks come after a second woman — Amy Lappos has come forward saying that Biden inappropriately touched her at a 2009 fundraiser in Connecticut.
Former Nevada legislator Lucy Flores first came forward, accusing Biden of kissing the back of her head and making her feel uncomfortable at a 2014 political event.
