Falsely claims Trump keeps a copy of Hitler’s collected speeches by his bed

A book publisher has released a copy of collected Hitler speeches and placed an image of GOP nominee Donald Trump on the cover to suggest that the presidential candidate is a fascist.
The book, an edition of My New Order, Hitler’s collected speeches, features an image of Trump on the back cover with his arm raised, a clear attempt to suggest Trump is mimicking a Nazi salute.
The image is taken from a December 10, 2015 front page of the Philadelphia Daily News, which ran the headline “The New Furor” and suggested Trump wanted to exclude all muslims from the US.
A second volume of the book features Trump on the FRONT cover.
The publisher, Ishi Press International, even suggests in the cover notes that Trump and Hitler share the same characteristics.
“They never admit they have made a mistake nor do they ever take anything back,” Ishi Press writes on both volumes.
“To any criticism, they respond by insults and name calling. They use a low form of language, with simple sentences even a person with the lowest level of education or no education at all can understand.” the blurb reads.
The publisher also claims that Trump keeps a copy of the Hitler speeches by his bed.
“My New Order has attracted the attention of the press with the rise of Donald Trump as candidate for president of the United States, because his first wife Ivana Trump revealed that Donald Trump reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed.” the Ishi Press statement reads.
The claims were originally made in a 1990 Vanity Fair article by Marie Brenner who quoted Trump as saying “my friend Marty Davis from Paramount gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and he’s a Jew.”
Trump denied having read the book, saying “If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.’”
The article suggested that Trump wasn’t a history buff and instead “perhaps his possession of Hitler’s speeches merely indicates an interest in Hitler’s genius at propaganda.”
While Twitter trolls have repeated suggested that “Donald Trump is literally Hitler,” Hillary Clinton regularly suggests that Trump has a vision of cozying up to dictators.
During a speech in Ohio Monday, Clinton suggested that Trump has a “weird fascination with dictators like Russian President Vladimir Putin.”
“He (Trump) gets confused between leadership and dictatorship.” Clinton claimed, adding that “He has a hard time remembering who our friends are and who are adversaries are.”
