Christopher Steele, a former MI6 spy, is accused in a new report written by a leading British spy writer of fabricating the dossier which accused President Donald J. Trump of being compromised in the election due to Russian intelligence having compromising material on the president.

This dossier was used to allow the FBI permission to open several unwarranted investigations into Trump’s Cabinet members.

“The report, seen by The Sunday Times, concludes that ‘lapses’ in the dossier ‘bear the hallmarks of invention’ and concludes: ‘There is . . . a strong possibility that all Steele’s material has been fabricated,’ as published in The Sunday Times.

Immediately proceeding the Inspector General to the United Stated Justice Department issuing the report in December depicting Steele’s dossier as “hearsay,”  Nigel West was free to go public with his findings.

The nature of this report as well as the findings of West during his investigation on behalf of the law firm came to the conclusion that the Federal Bureau of Investigations did not actually have enough evidence to rely on the word of for MI6 spy Steele.

West claims, according to The Sunday Times, “One telltale characteristic of fabricators, in contrast to case officers handling authentic sources, is that they . . . attribute information to the wrong source.”

“From a professional intelligence perspective, the dossier . . . is profoundly troubling and cannot be taken at face value.”

Steele’s firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, issued a statement denouncing the findings of West and West’s conclusions from analyzing the Trump dossier.

Orbis Business Intelligence claimed that the West’s investigation should be disregarded and “lacks authority” due to the fact that  West “was never an intelligence officer and has no experience of operational work in the field.”

The statement issued by Orbis Business suggests, ” West has revealed he was hired by a US Republican law firm to assess the dossier in 2017 and concluded that large parts of it were faked.”

It continues, saying that West “was never an intelligence officer and has no experience of operational work in the field”

The only other Network reporting on this as of the time of this publication is the The Sunday Times in the United Kingdom.
