“I would close up our borders…This whole thing will get worse as time goes by”

In the wake of the latest terrorist attacks in Europe, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has called for shoring up US borders in an effort not to let “beautiful cities” become havens for Islamic extremists.
Speaking with Fox & Friends, Trump described how Brussels, the latest city to be attacked, has gone from one of the best places in the world to a hub for violent extremists.
“Brussels was an absolutely crime-free city, one of the most beautiful cities in the world,” Trump said, adding “It was a magical place” but is now an “armed camp.”
“You want to lead your life, you don’t want to be living in an armed camp for your whole life. And there is a certain group of people that is making living a normal life impossible.” Trump said.
Do you all remember how beautiful and safe a place Brussels was. Not anymore, it is from a different world! U.S. must be vigilant and smart!

“Paris is almost as bad,” he continued. “Paris is no longer the beautiful city of light. They’re cities in fear.”
“This is a story that seems to be more and more happening. You see what’s happening in London and other cities. It’s not pretty to watch. Many cities will be this way with what’s taking place.”
It’s a warning that Trump issued months ago, specifically saying that Brussels had become the jihadist capital of Europe. At the time Trump was called a racist and criticized for ‘insulting’ the Belgian capital.
Latest updates at time of writing estimate that around 30 people have been killed and over 100 injured in twin blasts at transport hubs in the Belgian capital.
“This is just the beginning,” Trump urged.
Asked what he would do to counter the threat, Trump said “I would close up our borders to people until we figure out what’s going on.”
“We have to be very, very vigilant with who we let into this country,” Trump continued. “We are taking in people without real documentation.”
“We don’t know who they are or where they’re from. We don’t learn. I will tell you I’ve been talking about this for a long time. This whole thing will get worse as time goes by.” the billionaire candidate stated.
“It will get worse and worse because we are lax and we are foolish — we can’t allow these people, at this point we cannot allow these people to come into our country. I’m sorry.” Trump declared.
He warned that governments quickly need to change their tactics on dealing with extremism.
“Those countries better get smart fast, because they’re just disintegrating,” he said.
“We’re not the victims here — we’re acting like this is our fault,” he said. “That’s the problem with the liberal policies of this country and this world, it’s acting like it’s our fault. It’s not our fault, okay, it’s not our fault. It’s their fault. And they have to come out and they have to say, hey look, this is happening.”
