Louder With Crowder

They won’t rest easy until every Jesus-loving maker of cake caters their wedding and kisses their ruby slippers. Many times, they’ve scored victories over the bakers. This isn’t one of those times.
A judge ruled in favor of a California baker after a gay couple tried to use the government to bully her into submission.
A California judge has ruled in favor of a Christian baker who refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.
The judge denied a motion for a temporary restraining order filed on Wednesday against Cathy Miller, the owner of Tastries Bakery in Bakersfield, California.
According to a press release sent by The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, the order would have compelled “Miller to create wedding cakes for LGBT persons, even though doing so would violate her sincerely held religious beliefs.”
The bakery received criticism last August when Miller said she refused to serve the couple because of her beliefs.
Don’t get me wrong, the cake wars are far from over. The battles over 10-layer, coconut, and red velvet will continue to rage. But, even the smallest of victories is uplifting.
Leftists and radical same-sex lovers seem to go out of their way to bully Christian bakers. While at the same time claiming they’re the real victims. Many of the bakers offer fair compromises. But, fascist fairies refuse anything less than absolute submission.
The Supreme Court still has yet to rule on the issue of gay cakery. But, after this small win and others, maybe this is a sign of a major victory for the First Amendment on the horizon. Our cake-stained fingers are certainly crossed.
While we’re on the subject:
